Excellent review. Really appreciate you pointing out the your favorite features and issues you have with the designs. Every single other reviewer only lists one compliment after another. Grading while taking the price into account adds real value to the review. Well done Bobby. These review could be feature videos more often.
Hey Bobby, I realize this is just a tour but the sailing performance and rough water performance comparison would be great to at least mention. If I buy one of these I'm not just buying it for the living space - I'm buying it to sail around with.
Seems like you get alot more bang for your buck with a motor home.. I bet a nice used Prevost would be around this same price and has plenty of refrigeration...I get it doesn't float around the world but still an awesome way to see the country!
Always good videos. Thank you. If you’re ever looking for a fill in idea. Could be interesting to talk about the lifespan and end of life for boats, the wrong and right way that happens.
Wow Bobby you are so anti monohull now that your cat is on order. It really shows when you say ‘it is what it is’ like no one should sail a monohull. Some of us still enjoy the ‘getting there’ on a monohull.
i understand why the chart plotters are at an angle but their placement (low and angled away from the helm) still seems wrong in my mind. maybe they work just fine like that....
Hi Bobby. You're generous with giving a B+. I would say at $620k a B-/C+ because of poor layout of Galley, no dingy setup, soft Bimini and what looks to be average to poor fit and finish. Making changes to any of these things would jack the price up even more. In my opinion, this boat is totally not worth it.
There is extra room for a generator. The engine is between two rooms. If Ikea had furniture produced with ALPI wood, it would not be that cheap anymore :). Alpi Wood is a high-quality engineered wood product, it might be more expensive compared to the materials IKEA typically uses, such as particleboard, MDF (medium-density fiberboard), and even solid wood composites.
I like the scoring system and that you give what you don't like. All these boats are so expensive right now. A used boat makes so much more sense financially, except what about the warranties?
**EDIT* I just saw their episode and you are friends !! lets do this yo! PLEASE make a video with "Spear It Animal" you have a great contact! your channels give the same vide, not like "Sailing la Vagabonde". They give such a too good for you vibe. and made so many bad calls with their new boat. Keep these videos up ! and these boats are over priced, no way its worth over $450
Is there any actual wood in the interior or have all these production boats gone with the "beauty". of whatever the heck that material is called? Don't like it but also not spending 600K on a boat either.Obviously not the target audience.

Thank you for your opinion on this. Nice to hear someone speaking to you. That relies upon personal knowledge & facts ;- ]
Flat hatch forward is opened usually with your foot. With the ball of your foot, press down and twist to unlock each handle, then lift. Easy! 😉
Crowbar or similar not required 😅
Agree Bobby...Good calls!
Nice monohull. Hope all is well with Amanda and her Mom.
I think your price assessment was right on. That's too much price difference for such a little gain on the extra footage😊
Much more room than I expected for a monohull

Good one!!!!...thanks!!!
You're welcome!
Great review, showing the downsides which is a change as most reviews are favourable.
Ikr notice the panels looks like a cheap rv .😂😂😂😂
Glad you liked it
I say C+ Manufacturers should begin incorporating davits as a standard. Having an option for a hard top to incorporate solar should also be available.
thank you, i would love your opinion on the Lagoon 46 if you ever run across one
Thank you for sharing! Sailing is nicer compared to motoryacht!

If you're sailing around Grenada these days you have to worry about your lifespan.
Excellent review! What are your thoughts on the new 55?

There was a key for the flat hatch.

I was at the show as well… for the same price I’d prefer the Benateau 46.1. Split head/shower… nicer platform… much nicer Salon .
Nice boat to explore Rhodes island
Does it have an engine room? With room for a generator?
Ikea interior is ok for charter companies

You should do more boat reviews if you get the chance. You're better than quite a few I've seen
can one person sail this off to sea? :)

Bobby White, if a Jeanneau 440 rates a B+ which monohulls rates an A ?
Hylas and passports
Hallberg-Rassy. Actually A++
High is the word
Dumps all over the boat. Gives it a B+
If it's gotta be a wet head - making the sink the wet side (and not the toilet) makes so much more sense!
why are they so expensive???? 😭😭😭😭
seems like a tiny fridge for a 30 day ocean crossing!
Liked your old one better . Over Priced !
i want bare basic catamaran, between 45 to 60 foot plz...

✅👍🏝
Back to being alone 😢....
"Down stairs?" "Steps?" Are you a sailor or a relator???
Fit and finish seems really cheap for the $$
I DO NOT let you review my boat.
👍🏼👍🏻❤
🥵🥵

The material is ALPI wood
The interior wood looks cheap.
No, Garcia 45 monohull beats them by far!
For $620 k, sorry I do not want to hear, 'it is what it is' and all that cheap woodwork looks like mdf board?
rather have a CAT
