Thanks for your input. There is great consensus that the Hippocampus is heavily involved in memory. It's not the only part and it's definitely more nuanced/dynamic than memory = Hippocampus. If you can share research showing that learning things and engaging imagination elicits more neurogenesis than exercise please do share 🙂
