My pair has a lot of small issues. QC on these are definitely disappointing.
Best part of thos shoe is the cut. They fit way better than my 2016 TB and 2018 BC AJ3s.
I saw over 30 pairs out of the box yesterday and every single elephant print was completely unique. This may have been the intent.

People don’t understand every elephant has a different print. It even varies on a single elephant. If anything ppl should like the uniqueness it’s gives it a custom feel.

I wouldn’t really care except for the fact that one of the biggest points of the shoe were that it was supposed to be similar to the originals with the faded print and low placement. What’s the point if half of them look the same as the other ones they were supposed to changing. I actually like the ones that are super faded and low
My pair from Snipes are straight for the most part, I have no complaints. My other pair from Nohble have a bit more variation. The back elephant print is like one of your pair - one’s thin and faint and the other is thicker and more pronounced. Still going wear both.
My pair is pretty bad. The print on the back of one shoe is very thin and light. The other one is dark and thick
I was concerned at first when I bought a pair from a consignment store. I thought my “AIR” text was off because it seems little over painted and a different texture from my friends store bought pair which was crisp but noticed that your pair is similar so that gave me some comfort on my pair.
You need to review the new Air max pulses! comfort level is insane with the new air tech.

After buying these and wearing them I have come to the realization that I do not care. I will wear them and not think about any BS anyone else is going through.
My elephant print is completely mismatched, I thought it was done purposely cus I have yet to see in person two that are almost the exact the same.
I’ll look at mines again but I didn’t see a big difference in elephant print. I’m just over the aged vintage look
I got 2 pairs (sz 12.5) and (sz13) and I bought my son (sz12) and my daughter (sz7.5) pairs. And they are all pretty good. However all of our pairs a different. For example The elephant print on my daughters pair is much more vivid than my pairs. Which isnt really noticeable. but when you place them next to each other. It looks substantially different. There are some other differences. i.e. shape or measurements. But none of them are on the same shoe. For example if I had different color print on a left and right shoe I would be upset. But that's not the case. All pairs are matching. But still different from eachother. It's pretty odd. I have bought several pairs of Jordans for the entire fam. We've all had, bred 4's, bred 3's. Concords, Cool greys, Infra red 3's etc. And we've never seen such differences.
I think the mismatched pair on the back is just a 2011 white cement with the jump man air on the back next to this new pair it would be yellowed due to age to look like the new pair just doing it to clown us

My pair has thinner elephant print on the heels than the toe on both shoes. And the leather is more tumbled on the right shoe than the left.
I wasn’t planning on getting these but I was like “well, let’s see what happens” and I got ‘em haha and I must say, materials are pretty nice. Quality in general is ok, of course the typical flaws a mass produced pair of shoes is going to have but nothing crazy, and damn, I really want to wear them. Very easy to match and the shape is on point. I have true blues from 2018 I think, with the Nike Air in the back and even though I prefer that colorway these are so much better material wise. Such a bummer for the people that got really shitty pairs but at the end of the day it’s kinda expected since they make a lot of pairs, but I do see better quality in most of the materials used in Jordans, which is expected since they rise the price every damn year haha.
About the use of the reimagined concept, I’d like to see a white cement 4, a military blue, but for example the announced bred 4’s, which makes no sense for me but will see, but hopefully they don’t kill the concept since I like the vintage look but not on the very damn sneaker
I sold mine within 5 minutes of picking up in the store..... The toe box and elephant print were all jacked up.... found someone to buy them outside the store for an extra $100 bucks... not missing these garbage shoes at all..

My size 7 has a horrible defect where the red eyelets have hole punched through the red circle, and mix matched elephant print on the toe and different height on the back , and my 11.5 pair elephant print is super thick and 2 different heights on the toe

I don’t mind if it’s like thinned lines. But if it look like it was fading as it did in that one photo, I would be pissed
my left shoe is tumbled white leather and the right is a stiff white leather. disappointed.

I have 3 different pairs all same size. 1 pair has smaller light elephant print. It’s from footlocker and a different factory then the other two pairs. The other pairs have the darker bigger elephant print and I believe they came from the same factory. One is from finishline and the other from SNKRS . All pairs are good and elephant print is pretty similar for each pair thankfully.
I heard somewhere that they were manufactured in different factories. Could that be what leads to the difference?

My left heel elephant print was super light compared to the rest of both shoes, but I rock with it. The Heel tab however creaks like hell when I walk on them. Gonna try baby powder.
I guess I’m lucky that my pair turned out fine. I’m pretty happy about that since these weren’t easy to get.

NB 2002R US10
NB 1080 v12 US9.5
Brooks ghost 15 US10
Ultraboost (2018) US 9.5
I just recently won a raffle for nike x peaceminusone kwondo 1 black white, so i upsize it to US10.5, its still not wide enough for my feet.
I am not sure if i need to upsize to US 11 or 11.5 for it, while the US10.5 is already have a long front empty space on it.
So how about the Air Jordan 3 sizing?
I can not find a store near my city which i can try them on, and also the purchase is not refundable nor exchangeable.

Every release has flaws, these are just more noticeable because the hype was through the roof for these. Nobody is making you buy the shoes if you don’t like the quality return and get a refund it’s simple as that But most of the people complaining are doing it for clout

I don’t even mean the cement print itself, but the sizing round tie cap etc
One of my favourite Jordan silhouettes is the 3s, unfortunately the many that I have copped in the last 3 years have had quality control issues, so I have returned them. It's a know fact that Nike and Jordan brand don't invest enough money on their iconic silhouettes.
They hike their prices and give you substandard sneakers, right is different to the left, materials stitched together in the wrong position, glue stains, colours bleeding and fading.... probably other issues.
The 3 will always have this problem unless it is manufactured by master shoemakers using precision machinery, then it's worth the £170 -180 price tag.
Currently I would pay 100-120 for what being released. 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

If it weren't for NikeTalk and TH-cam I wouldn't have noticed or cared about the elephant print. The shape means more to me and even that wouldn't keep me from getting the shoe if it was as slim or curved as I prefer.

My pair has the mismatched elephant print on the back. One his thick and one is thin and the pattern looks completely different. I had another pair which had mismatched print and off center nike air on the backtab. The mismatched print is okay but the off center backtab is too much for me
so glad to have owned the 09 true blue release it was night and day better than the 2011 pair

I will say about the aged phylon midsole look. I have some AM90s and AM97s that have a white phylon midsole and the paint is actually starting to wear off of them causing it to have a yellow look to it. I don't even really wear them that much either. So I guess I could see the reasoning behind them making the midsole on these 3s looked aged.
These, the 90s and 97s aren’t Phylon midsoles, they are Polyurethane.

I wouldn't of minded a mismatch, my pairs have the front stitching uneven, it doesn't look good, the front right elephant print panel is significantly lower than the left, drives me crazy, and sucks!!! Still what am I gonna do, it is what it is

Agree about the vintage, pre-aged look on everything. On these and the Lost and Found 1s they look phenomenal. Not so much on the pics of the AJ 4 BREDs.

Got 2 pairs BOTH were trash! Elephant print issues & 1 smooth leather on 1 shoe the other had like a cheap wanna be tumble or snake skin texture! 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼 to Nike & Jordan brand for lack of craftsmanship & QC issues!!!! Quality of these are total 💩💩💩💩
