Took a Bob Ross painting class almost 20 years ago in high school. Just happened to be in the dollar store about a week ago saw some watercolor paints in tubes? Grabbed some cheap brushes and a small pack of canvas boards. Had so much fun recreating this. Picked up better set of brushes since then. Also need recommendations on water colors as well. Great vid!!

It looks incredibly stunning! Your method of using the watercolor makes it so easy to follow, and the brushstrokes are incredible, which makes it so astonishing. The color tone is so mesmerizing to the eye. Your technique of mixing the water and the paint is so elegant that it has the perfect brightness and darkness of the color. Overall, it is marvelous.

I've recently expanded my media from pencil, charcoal to pastel, ink, and water color. I use many of the same techniques in each media. It is the touch as much as anything else. Watercolor offers much in the way of creativity. His approach was my thought as I began Watercolor. Water lightens, pigment darkens. Blending, shading, light, shadows, tone, all the same light, soft touch of love in every stroke.

agree there is little info about letting it dry before continuing, it is very unhelpful so I moved on to other tutorials where they give helpful info.... isn't that the point of a tutorial
So after the sky and mountains were done she let it dry before starting the green areas and trees. Then dries it again before taping and doing the water. U can dry your watercolors with a hair dryer just make sure to always tape the work down really good. Happy painting!

2 questions - did you let your paint dry between layers? What colors did you use? This is gorgeous and would love to try it as my first landscape.
