But, there are many writers who have never heard of writing grants and never considered applying for them! And if that's you, you might be missing out. I might be wrong but i think i saw you at Shakespeare's globe LONDON a few years ago. ever been there?
I've been to London twice, but never to Shakespeare's globe!
What are the qualifications required to apply for it? I mean I'm just a 10th class student and I don't think I'm eligible for grants🤷♀️.
Ps: I'm from India.
Each grant has its own requirements, so I'd recommend doing some research to find grants you're eligible for.

I thought you lived in Europe. I thought that you were working on a degree of some kind.
She just finished a writing degree about a year or so ago. She talks about it on her TH-cam channel
I completed my degree in writing at a Canadian university last year!
10,000 words in a month is unrealistic? That's about 333 words a day. It's *one page* a day. Basically anyone, not even a professional writer, can write one page a day if they try. I could write 333 words in like five minutes. (They wouldn't be good words, but I could do it.)
Apparently, I was really offended that they didn't believe you could write that much.

True. Some days I don’t have the time or energy for that, but that’s not the judgement this person was making. She said she could do it and had done it in the past and they said in response, “no, you can’t because that is an unrealistic number.” The implication is that that number wasn’t even possible, that she couldn’t do it because no one could, when really if you’re a professional with experience and who likes to write, one page should be easily doable most days.
@@sariahsue I was pretty shocked as well! I've done NaNoWriMo several times so know I can write up to 50k in a month if I really push myself, so I was so shocked that 10k was deemed unrealistic for me just because it would be unrealistic for them.
@@Reedsy Ive done Nano too! I love that competition! I feel like its like magic for writers lol I wrote my first unpublished novel in Nano. Of course, I wrote more after Nano as 50,000 wasnt quite enough words to finish it. Also, it turned out to be SO horrible that I wont even read it now and itll NEVER see the light of day 😂😂😂 but it helped me to KNOW that I could do it. That's really weird that they thought you couldnt write 10,000 words in a MONTH!😳🤔 I think you can achieve that even if you are the most unambitious writer to grace the Earth 😂😂
