Having hard time finding great for a conversation in the form of a Wildland wildfire chainsaw fire mitagation crew.to provide the service of getting rid of the wildfire ladder fuels so that the fire stops where the mitigation took place to protect what's behind the mitagation. That would be conservation correct?
@MichaelGallegos I found a grant that looks like it will help. But I think a fire department will have to apply, not an individual. @JenniferPham Thank you! I’m not sure about senior class trip grants, unless they were going to accomplish a community service. Such as a trip to a poor community and help there somehow. You could search by your zip code at www.findhelp.org/ to find all kinds of local resources (not a paid promotion). Excellent question! Depending on where you are in the world, there are grant consultants. I know of one directory, based in the U.S., that is free to use (link at the end of this paragraph). They may or may not have a consultant near you. Of course, those consultants will charge a fee. If that is not an option, then I would suggest your local/regional/state or provincial governments, especially their workforce development offices. I have a disabled child with physical and cognitive disabilities and is wheelchair bound. We really need a van with a lift. There is a local agency that will pay for the lift but it has to have less than 35,000 miles and 2018 or newer. We just can’t afford a newer van right now but we really need one. We live in California. Are there any grants for this?
@MichelleWillis Thanks for your patience. I have 2 ideas: (1) Try calling the phone number 211, which connects people to low-cost or no-cost services in the area. (2) I had a family member in a similar situation a few years ago, so I made some connections today to see how it worked. There were funds donated by the family, and a local dealership gave the family member a very good discount on a van. He is also a veteran, and I think perhaps a local VFW pitched in. In other words, it was a mix of support.

She and I don't know each other, and I get no payments for promoting her channel. That would likely be more like city or state government assistance. If you search rental assistance and your city name, several options should pop up. Look through several of them to see what will work. If that doesn’t work, let me know and we’ll try something else!

There are many women who are in low income to cover their daily basic need of food for themselves and their families. The same is true for the case of youths to get a job. Despite of this, there is favorable environmental condition and plot of land to work and change their living condition. @JenFerris It might be better to call 211, and the people answering the phone can connect you to services provided by agencies in your area (if you’re in the USA). No charge for the call, and many nonprofits charge little to nothing for their services. No grant application needed. Does this help?

I understand It's unethical expect the grant writer to get paid after the grant has been granted. Okay. I can see how that's unethical, just as hiring someone to do fundraising and paying them a commission percentage based on the money they raise. Okay. Now, on my end for example. What can you recommend me to do, in order to not have to take all the risk of paying upfront for a service, without any guarantees that I will have any positive results?
@biblefarm9639 First, thank you for watching! You ask a good question, and one asked frequently. The job of the grant writer and the organization applying is that (1) all the right steps have been taken to make sure that the grant meets all of the grant funder's requirements, such as match of missions and geographic reach; (2) that the proposal is clearly written and completely answered, with all required attachments (letters of support, tax documents, etc.); and (3) the proposal is submitted on time (no later than deadline day). Those 3 steps will put you well ahead of many other applicants that did not follow those steps. But, as you have guessed, there are no guarantees. That is the tough part of grant writing; there are many more applicants than there are dollars available. The normal success rate is around 30%. I hope that helps.

My name is Tammy and I was wondering if I would qualify for a grant? I'm single I'm 57 years old and I just beat breast cancer. I fought for 2 years. At times I was homeless. I was told I had Hers 2 breast cancer in March of 2020. In May I lost my only sister and my home. While I was going through chemo I had no one. I finally got my SSI last year. I tried so hard to get help when I was homeless and going through chemo. Like I said I got no help. They say my cancer is in remission. The money I get once a month is not near enough. I am struggling waiting on disability app only 45 but a few health issues causing me not to be able to keep a job I lost my car and home and am currently homeless but my spouse makes 1200 a month doing doordash and we are now in our 85 RV that is not suitable for living with no place to park and gas takes most of his pay and I was told we dont qualify for any help in Washington state so I am without proper care and food I am going to get deathly sick idk what to do

@@grantchatter they sent me to DSHS and Lutheran services and we were denied for making over 471 took away the food stamps we had and I have one last hope with a woman at
Lutheran but it's a wait list and I knew this would happen but I now have an infection from a insect bite and a fever I am ready to just let it take me

@@grantchatter I paid $1,000 for books and tapes went to meetings for my Mother. The problem is can you write grants or recommend a bonafide grant writer. Ppl who claim they can write grant charges hundreds of dollars. Half of them skip out on ppl after they have paid half or more after paying their money.
@AngelaMcGhee I do have a resource for qualified grant writers who would finish the project, but I wonder if it's a grant you need. Would it instead be financial assistance? Maybe you have already tried this, but does www.benefits.gov/ connect you to help for your mother? It is free to check. Or call the phone number 211 to be connected to local resources? That is also free. I'm not being paid by either of these to mention them. This is just an idea from me, to save you money and hopefully get what is needed.

Thanks for taking the time to comment! Grants for individuals actually do, but they're not as common as grants for nonprofits. There are a lot more financial assistance options, which I note several times in this video.
