    Thank you Diane for your interesting interview. In my opinion if you are not an avid hunter, or someone who lives in the woods full time, you are not going to see and identify things in the woods. I've sat just off the edge of a path before while a handful of people walked right past me several times and didn't know I was there. It's not that difficult to "not" be seen, if you know how. Bigfoot definitely knows how. If you want to know or to see our Brother of the Woods, just go live out there for awhile. You will see more than your mind is ready for.

    • @AFloridaSon
      @AFloridaSon 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Exactly. Our minds are not ready for it. I knew what Bigfoot is, I heard it was in California, Washington State, and the Himalayas. I had heard there was sightings in Florida. But never in a million years did I believe they really were here. It wasn't until I had a reason to really look into it, that I realized we could walk within 20' of one, and not even realize it. Then I started wondering how many has watched me in the woods, before I was a real believer.

      Bigfoot avoids hunters. They don't like guns. They are way more intelligent than humans

    I was really surprised, and disappointed, honestly, that there wasn't more of an attempt by your cameraman to zoom in on her pics, or perhaps show them lying flat on the table with better lighting. I only bring it up because I've seen them on another doc, up close, and they are so spectacular!!!

      Karla....have you heard of a lady & gent here in Ohio and their channel, Snow White Bigfoot? They have a helluva fantastic photo & video library collection of hand prints that are downright amazing and mesmerizing! I beleieve they have been interacting and documenting their bigfoot there on there land and at their house for nigh on 10 years now. Angie does a helluva job with her camera and her phone.

    Try using a blue plastic screen over the infra red on your trail camera. They are picking up the red. A different color might make a difference.

    • @RuinedTemple
      @RuinedTemple 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wouldn't green transparent film be better since it's the complementary (opposite) color of red?
      I'd think that with blue, it may potentially create violet/purple, which means some red may still be visible.
      Thoughts?

Considering the "interesting" abilities many credible researchers ascribe to them, I think maybe there is more to this being suppressed than she realizes.

    Great interview, thank you for sharing it. I am a firm believer of this species, and so I am on the fence about wanting to truly 'discover' a Sasquatch, my empathic intuition tells me to just leave them be. It is quite funny to me to see a group of white people, disconnected from nature, tromp into the woods with hundreds and hundreds of dollars of technical gear, and lights and trucks, and all the sounds and smells that come with all that, and they are shocked that they never see a thing.
    While others, a single believer, knowing nature, can venture in the same woods, without all the stuff, and end up with a sighting and even trading 'gifts' with them.
    With that said (written) I am happy to see all these groups heading out, in their Sqautch hoodies and trucks with bigfoot stickers, because that, imo, will ensure they won't be discovered, classified and ultimately publicly vilified.

      I find the TV people with lights on their head the most hilarious. I sit on a favorite outcrop and sing them 70s soft rock songs. Always let me know they're around. Couple of decades now and I still have no desire to film, record or document my experiences with these beings.Most would sound like science fiction.

      I'm in agreement. They come by and visit me at dusk during the summer. I have a basket that I leave nightly treats for the 4 young ones. Sometimes i play classical music while I'm outside doing chores. And I feel their energy in the bushes. I have never knowingly photographed or recorded them. I talked to them as a friend when I feel their energy nearby. Sometimes I get a grunt or a single word back. They are good neighbors and very protective of my family. I would never do anything to trick them. It's taken generations of our families interacting to get to this place. @philliphaney9468

      'White people' ? Wasn't Roger Patterson a 'white' person? I've not seen better footage taken than that. Also, aren't most of the track casts and other evidence found by 'white' people? What have non 'white' people come up with that's better?

    What if you mixed your cast medium in a plastic bag &, instead of "sprinkling" it into the track, you snipped off a corner of the bag & piped the medium into the track as though you're piping frosting out of a cake decorator's piping bag?
    Seems to me that could give you optimal control over how gently the medium enters into & over the track & any details that it might have within it.
    You'd be able to more easily control how far the medium drops/falls before meeting the track, the speed & force/pressure of the medium coming out of the bag with how much pressure you apply with your hands, how much medium enters the track, it'd give you precision of application to neatly & fully cast toes & other small, irregular features without having to slop or drip drops & dollops of the medium into & over them which often causes it to go well past the outlines of the track, the added precision could also help you avoid picking up as much of the debris from the surrounding environment of the track due to the ability to prevent extensive overflow/going far outside of the track's outline, it may help create cleaner/neater looking casts that have more discernible details, & it might even decrease the overall amount of time spent on casting a track & obtaining high-quality casts that have greater scientific value/more extractable data, which would give you MORE time to make casts of additional tracks, do other research, or maybe even get done earlier than expected so you can go home & get some rest after tromping around outdoors in the weather & doing all of that observation, note-taking, bending/kneeling/stooping & careful collection where you know a Sasquatch has recently been. 😉

    Great information, Diane! Thank you for sharing your work! As far as the protecting them, laws governing them, declaring them a new "species" goes, these are a people sharing this world with us. I believe they will be respected as an equal or higher being than us, not an animal that we have some sort of guardianship over. They are way ahead of us on all of that... the government will never have any authority over them and their affairs. That would be like declaring the Arcturians an endangered species. Currently, I feel, the joke is on us. They are here to teach us things.. some are listening.......more and more are listening as times goes on.

    I think that most of the sightings aren't accidental. I believe they select who sees them. I was in the woods for years ( I am 71 an avid outdoorsman ) hunting, looking for roots and herbs to sell, cutting wood and at night camping and maybe just getting away sleep in the bed of my truck throw a bag on the ground and never saw one. I saw the Patterson Gimlin film ( 1974 ) and thought how interesting but not a thought after that . Many years later I saw one 4 different times and in a couple places. So when someone says I'm in the woods a lot, doesn't mean a thing. And to be nonchalant, probably didn't see one. Guarantee if they did they would be like me every time I tell it I get goose bumps heart races. It will change everything.

      I never care about evidence and I don't understand the continued effort to get casts. If I came across prints, myself, I would snap a photo if I could and move on. What would be the point of having a cast other than I could make a cool ashtray out of it, or something?
      I work with a guy who is probably the least excitable, and most low-key, guy that I've ever been around. Last year he had mentioned that he had an encounter while camping in the back of his truck and there was a huge slap on the truck and he jumped out with flashlight and he saw a beast running off through the woods.. I asked him yesterday where it was that he had that encounter and he told me and then I asked him how sure he was that it was a BF. He said, "100 percent, because he removed a big bunch of red hair from his truck that couldn't be anything else". He didn't keep it. I probably would have just as a talking piece but I know it would not convince anyone.

      Can you guys read, or think? brian_2040 specifically said he is not saying she hoaxed the prints. He's saying that he doesn't see them as being from BF. I've seen many casts that look too flat and out of proportion to look like what I'm used to seeing as a typical animal print. I don't know if they are or are not, but they don't look right in some way or another. I think brian just wanted verification that the prints don't look right and wanted other's opinions.

I believe where anyone sees 1 of these,there are many more around.So many of these sightings seam to relate to multiple experiences by multiple people. VLA.

    I dont know why the collection of physical evidence for "scientific" analysis is so important anymore. The shear number of witnesses along with the footprints and the stories of the NAs etc is convincing enough for me. The drive to "study"them is not recognizing their right to live without being in a fish bowel or a cage. They deserve respect and i would think if you believe they are hominids and intelligent why would you want to keep harassing them trying to gather "data" and "evidence". Like other interviwed i would think you would want to protect them and their way of life. I say leave them alone. Why does the name of the species matter? You said it will be a free for all so why would u want to expose their existance more? It's inconsistent what you are doing versus what you say you want for them.

    Having personally spent time with Mountain Gorillas which share almost all of our DNA I respectfully disagree with the statement that this creature can be accurately named Homo something... in a manner linked with homo sapiens. Us. Having watched the Gorillas literally within inches at times it was easy to see personality traits, physical differences etc. Very very individual just like us. I lean toward it being another species of great ape. The patterson Gimlin footage literally has me seeing a lot of similarities between this creature and Gorillas.
