4. A baby Alpaca is called a Cria, a Female Alpaca is called a Hembra and a Male Alpaca is called a Macho.
5. Like LLamas, Alpacas have been thought to have been a domesticated animal over 6000 years ago by the Incas, they used them for their prized fleece.
