I've lived there for quite many years. TBH, Secunderabad is lot more modern, safe and has best educational institutions and best hospitals. Just few weeks ago one of my relatives had craniotomy surgery i.e. open brain surgery - its one of the most advanced surgeries that's on the planet. He is doing very well now.
