I grew up in GA and I have such a vivid childhood memory of walking that boardwalk trail at Okefenokee and going to the top of that tower. I loved seeing this part of Georgia again, its been toooo many years
Cumberland Island looks so beautiful with the greenery, beaches and wild horses. I'm the opposite to you Julia, I prefer the colder weather because it's easier to warm up using layers than it is to keep cool during the heat.
I have that place on my list to explore. How far would you say each beach was from one another? Thank you for sharing it looks so lovely minus the heat. 😂
The ones on Jekyll Island were all pretty close together (within 10 mins of each other). About an hour to get from Jekyll down to St Marys, where you can take the ferry to Cumberland Island (~45 minutes each way)!

If you find a truck stop close by, they always (typically) have showers. Just be safe.
