I was there about 2 weeks ago. St. George Street markets are pretty cool. Those two stone entry gates (St. George gates) are some of what's left of the old city. St. Augustine is the oldest established city in the United States, it was established before the United States was. This was not the original settlement in Florida. The first settlement was on the West coast in the Gulf of Mexico area, but because of weather they traveled to St. Augustine and made that the first established settlement. The Florida National Guard was the first established military in the United States I believe. The Florida National Guard is older then the United States and the US Army. Thanks for the tour!!! Adventure on!!
One of your videos came up on my feed this morning and I’ve been binge watching ever since. I had always dreamed of going across the country and seeing every state like you are doing. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with leukemia a few years ago and am fast approaching 60 in the next couple months, so this dream sadly may never happen for me. But I’m so excited that I can now live my dream through you !!! Thank you for doing this and sharing your experience. All the best on your journey and you just got a new subscriber.
Stop by Saint Simons Island right over the Ga line. You're super close to it now. I spent last weekend there in my car. Gascoigne Bluff Park Is where I parked to sleep. Pull up under the Oak trees facing the river by one of the benches. Perfect night spot.
St Augustine looks so nice with all of the historical buildings. Looking forward to seeing your future adventures in other states Julia. I'm guessing Alabama for the next destination.
You have prolly answered this if so I'm sorry asking but where do you get your money? Is it gifts and donations ? I am just curious about it because I love the van lifestyle.
I saved up money from working; also a bit from TH-cam/other little side gigs. Going to take a few months break soon to build my savings back up, then get back on the road!
I have crush on you but I love your channel I want do van life someday but for now I love milking cows and nursing them I’m 18 living on a farm my life God bless you beautiful 🤍
