Thank you, I wanted to see how to put string in this trimmer. I’m new at all this. So can you tell me what the best kind of string I can use in this trimmer?
Is there a better trimmer for about the same amount? ($160ish) I want the easy twist load like this one but would prefer a longer run time and something that can take higher gauge string.
The Ryobi Expandit series is around the same price and can hold a higher gauge weed eater string: homedepot.sjv.io/R56gmb thetlrstore.com/products/095-weed-eater-string
@@TheLawnReview You're awesome! I checked it out and it's a great deal (& currently on sale with 1-day free delivery)! I bought it - You are a superhero!
I lost the manual that came with it. 1 question?? I cant figure how to keep the throttle on-without holding the trigger in the entire time... Is there a setting for "constant run"? Thanks.
Thank you very helpful. Sucks I was ready to buy more Skil products. I like them and Ryobi. I find the 40 volt platforms done have food runtime, take line time to recharge, and usually very expensive. I will check out Kobalt.
Ordered a new head using string that came with it much better results now. Probably was using to thick before. Appreciate your reply :-)@@TheLawnReview

Hey! You will have to grab under a .095" string. I've tried with that size and it doesn't fit. So probably a good .080"

Very informative. Thanks!

Hmm - I'd have to go back and check but I doubt it. Some of them have a "cruise control" function but I don't think this one does.
@@TheLawnReview thanks-UR correct
@@soxwina Great! How have you liked yours?
@@TheLawnReview It works well. No more gas/oil mixing nor pulling a start-cord with my bad shoulder.
@@soxwina That's the beauty of electric tools
so what's the difference between the power jump charger and the other regular charger? I see there are two different one's.
The PWR jump charges it to 30% or so really quickly whereas the regular just slowly charges it to 100%
Are the Ryobi expand it and skil attachments compatible
Yes

Never mind. I just saw your comparison video. Lol… The Kobalt SUCKS. Maybe more research into Ryobi 40volt for me. Thanks for the work.
Ryobi is definitely pretty good if you get one of the heavier duty ones, like the carbon fiber shaft.

Also you will get less run time when it is under a load while cutting grass.
That's definitely true. Do you own this one?
Subbed!
Thanks, Joe!!
Like mine except line refuses to bump feed . Constantly find only 2" of line out & must manually extend back out. Thus I now wish had never purchased.
Dang - what type of string are you using?
