    Nice work, young lady! My granddaughter is on her way, and she will definitely have a grandpa-made crib. Thanks for the inspiration.

    Great design and lovely looking crib. I have to say though, that watching you on that table saw without the riving knife made me anxious 😮😮

    Hi there. Great video, I bought the plans too. For the short side vertical pieces, the cut list says 1.5x1.5, but it looks like 1.5 x 2 in the videos and pictures (similar to the long side verticals). Can you confirm? I imagine it will impact the cuts of the end panels, so I wanted to double check. Thank you!

    Love your work! I'm about to build my second crib. I was wondering why did you choose to have the front/back inset into the sides rather than the other way around? (I'm thinking from the front it will be a cleaner look if you inset the sides into the front/back?) Please let me know if there is a build/strength reason you did it this way. Thanks - Mike

    I'm using these designs for the crib I'm building. I don't see where you say how far apart the spindles are, but by my math it should be almost exactly 2", right?

    What kind of chisel are you using?

    • @HonestWorkDesigns
      @HonestWorkDesigns  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      These were actually a gift my husband got me from trip to Japan - they were hand crafted there. I wish I could show you the picture of the shop he got them in - think a tiny store front but hand made chisels and planes from floor to ceiling.
      Which I guess is the long winded way of saying - I don’t know, they’re weren’t branded.

    Great crib but after building this myself I am very disappointed with the plans. Almost every plan I used over 20 years of woodworking there is actually details on the plan but not this one. For example, interval spacing between spindles is wrong,angle on the x supporting feel (not feet) is 35 degrees or 55 degrees? I could go on and on. Video starts out good but then is edited poorly with measurements she gives are cut to the quick and hard to follow. So I would not have spent 15 dollars on such a poorly devised plan.

      I agree, awful plans. Might as well just use the video. Pay $15 for plans that are only slightly more detailed than the video, which is to say almost not at all. They got me on this one. I will most definitely not buy anything from Honest work designs again.

      Hello All! I've updated the plans to include specific cut lists, links to specific hardware etc. I've only ever built things for myself and my clients from custom designs, so plans are a bit of a foreign concept to me. I only put these together because of demand, but have heard y'alls input and improved upon them. If you've purchased plans and want the updated set, shoot me an email! And of course, the same is true if you're unhappy with them and would like a refund.
