everytime someone does the niv mizzet + curiosity combo on me in Arena I want to make them play it out just out of pettiness but then I realize I'm wasting my time as well

i have seen people fail to demonstrate their combo on a few occasions. first time I legitimately did not understand it but the other two players were familiar with some gitrog shenanigans but when I asked them to show me the loop they couldn't figure it out and the other two didn't help once they realized.

This is magic at it's best. 30 minutes of fucking around, riffing with your friends, 5 minutes of going "wait, what trigger are we on?," and 7 minutes of playing the game.
Everything about this video is great, except the actual match. Nothing worse in magic than players getting the game just about going and one of them goes "game over"

Oh my goodness I've never laughed so much or so hard during one of these episodes. Day9 and Kyle riff too well off of each other and Olivia's laugh is incredibly infectious. Thank you all so much for being such amazing people.

This is why this show is the best.
Not only is Curiosity a "may", Kyle could also discard in response to any Curiosity trigger, causing the damage to happen before the card draw, even if it wasn't a may.
What an unhinged episode, I loved it! I hope you can get this group together for another game.

This has to be the most enjoyable commander series out there. Its funny and feels like home and most importantly the rules are followed and triggers mostly get hit. Brian's constant watching of triggers and following for everyone is the same thing I do and it feels good that I am not the only one that wants to make sure everything plays right.
kyle hill does get bonus points for getting the crew *clap*
Next time Kyle Hill is on the show, he should just sit in Brian's seat, and no one should say a thing about it.

I made the mistake of watching this at work. Hilarious. Loved seeing Day9 on here I’ve been a big fan since the StarCraft days.
This match does truly feel like the most “at home/kitchen table” with jokes and riffs that have nothing to do with the game at hand! Love it!

Day9's reaction to the infinite combo is exactly my reaction to that kind of play. I actively dislike when that happens as it feels so anticlimactic. Having so much fun and then out of nowhere, the game is over and it all came down to if you had interaction available at that moment.
The chaos is almost more than when commander at home has your "child" on. 15/10, can't do fractions
Easily my favorite episode so far. I can only imagine how much fun everyone has during these games.

The content creator's filter being gone is the whole premise of Pleasant Kenobi's channel. And that's why we love it lol. And why we love the full body laughs of Olivia.
This is essentially what Commander is at the end of the day. Someone wins but everyone has fun shittalking all game long and that is what you will remember, especially anything regarding any form of animal genitalia trivia.
I'm so glad this episode of commander at home has been so focused on the gameplay itself and didn't once devolve into 300 million tangents (fr though I'm a newer fan and y'alls videos always bring a smile to my face, thank you ❤)
