Camel - Stationary Traveller

- The haunting title track from Camel's 1984 album 'Stationary Traveller'. Recorded at the Catalyst Club on 26 June 2003, this was thought to be Camel's farewell tour, hence the DVD's title: The Opening Farewell - Camel Live in Concert 2003. Thankfully, it would not be farewell and after a ten year hiatus for health reasons the band made a triumphant return to the stage, presenting an emotional and phenomenally faithful presentation of The Snow Goose. Long may they run.

When you have no more Pink Floyd, Yes, etc you find refreshing Camel.
There is a lot of good music in the world, but Camel and Andy Latimer have a special place in my heart.
I strongly believe this band deserved so much recognition than they got.
Some of the greatest music I've heard in my life has been made by this man. I pity those who'll never hear Camel's records
Nevertheless, this guy will be a legend in the hearts who heard what he said
Thank you for the music sir! :)
Such an underrated band! Beautiful
Never got the recognition they deserve

I was talking to a friend today about how Camel is the most underrated music band of all time at all musical genres.. I pity those who'll never hear Camel.. Your music always makes me feel like a real human being, something that no other music can make me feel.
However, Andrew Latimer will always be a legendary guitarist who's beyond beyond all boundaries.. I can't put my respect into words..Thank you Camel for every note you've hit
Andy Latimer has amazed me since I was in my teens, and still does. He puts his soul into all he plays!

These Camel clips are inspiring.
Always a unique and interesting band
Old friend got me into Camel back in the mid 80s. Happy days
Fabulous💕
I got that LP record , and their music is soothing in a disturbing way , made during the cold war , and I knew people was " trapped " behind the Iron curtain , my heart to them each time I heard that album , brilliant and intelligent , wish they would play in Norway once .
Wow what a talented guy Andy Latimer? and the whole band - I heard Camel in the 70s Breathless - very impressed with the Pan pipe solo and then back to the bluesy prog guitar truly amazing, I guess there original keyboard player passed Peter Bardens, this cat is doing a very good job - glad I took time to listen to this - Peace.
hermosa música como fluye la guitarra. la flauta de pan geniales musicos
Beautiful track.
Awesome as always. Andy's such an unrecognized guitarist /musician. Such emotion and feeling when he plays. It just blows me away. Wish Camel would come back to the states to tour. I would love to see them live.

Some of this reminds me of Zazen with Joaquin Levano. Always loved Camel's style.
Браво !
shame for me I just discovered them
