- Ghardaia is a city located in the M'zab Valley in Algeria, renowned for its significant cultural and historical importance, particularly due to its unique architecture.
To reach Ghardaia, the most convenient option is to fly from Algiers, the capital of Algeria. Daily flights are available and are reasonably priced. Alternatively, you can consider taking a bus, although the journey is quite lengthy.
Once you land in Ghardaia, if you're a foreigner, you'll be escorted to your hotel by police officers. They were very friendly, though. I stayed in an amazing hotel called Belvedere Hotel. Great food and fast and reliable Wi-Fi. From the hotel, you can walk to the city center of Ghardaia, though it's a long walk. I recommend getting a guide (the front desk manager might be able to help you with that).
Overall, it was an amazing experience that I'll never forget.
