  • Replacing the check valve that came with my airlift 3p system to an SMC valve from bag riders.
The regular one lasted me 2 years with no issues but it’s failed on me a few times so it’s time to upgrade.

This is a cool video! Good looking out on a quick fix. Me personally, I dont run that much air pressure in my tank, cause I dont look for my compressors to work longer or harder than needed cause they do heat up and I dont want to burn them out sooner than needed. I run about 160 p.s.i. at a max. I may calibrate the system to only use 1 compressor at a time and when 1 compressor eventually dies, just use the other until it dies, yet order 1 more compressor after 1 fails to always have two compressors. MAKE SURE YOU LIKE THIS VIDEO!!

I just went with what bagriders recommended on pressure in the tank. Never had any issues with it besides the check valve but that was expected.

Was your 30AMp fuse keep blowing due to a bad check valve?

Yes. Every time I’d use the controller it dies

@@Big_sexus what check valve do you recommend? My compressor and controller keep on turning off. The 30a inline fuse is connected directly to the battery. Have you always ran a 30a fuse?

Having subs and compressor does your voltage drop?

Absolutely it would drop. I also pushed my subs pretty hard tho

@@Big_sexus did you get high output alternator or second battery to solve the issue?

okay good so on my brz , my airlift controller keeps turning off and i keep blowing fuse. going to replace check valve and see if that fixes my issue.

same scenario with my car , everytime i’d try to air up in order to get into a bad driveway. my system would shut off, and pop a fuse . and i’d be stuck max air up . so confident this will fix my issue thanks.

Before replacing it take the filter off the compressor and get a little soap on your finger. Hold your finger on the hole for about 30 seconds. If you see any bubbles or it’s letting any air out the compressor that means it’s definitely the check valve.
