    i was camping once at the bottom of a small valley, i went to sleep and had a dream that i was on top of the valley looking down at my tent , the wind was rocking the tent and i felt the cold air on my body , when i woke up i remembered the dream and walked to the top of the valley and it looked the exact same like the surroundings but funny thing i never went up there before so how the fuck is that possible, gives me chills to this day i still dont understand.

    I had a out of body experience. I was 6 or 7 at the dentist office getting fillings..nitrous...I watched the whole procedure from above the procedure light..and had to return when I was asked to open my mouth wider..now 34 this is a very vivid memory..

    The so-called experts are always the ones without any experience at all, so they are merely guessing based on correlations in the brain, but not speaking of the actual experience from the subjective viewpoint. Certainly, many experiences may be artifacts of the brain, but many more include perspectives and phenomena that are not explainable by science. When another person corroborates your experience, or when you can report what went on in another location far from the body, then science falls down on its attempts to limit this topic to brain chemistry. The experts are not experts, they are guessers.

      Scientists need to measure and calculate.. give me a lie detector test! I've be so submerged in consciousness through o.b.e.s.. that I didn't know who I was while there.. I was in a daze for weeks after that...
      People believe we think with our brains.. Nope! The brain is a filter.. consciousness is the universe! Our egotistical state blocks the truth from entering our souls.. our spirit is all knowing... our souls are the persons our spirit dwells in.. this experience only, until all your experiences build the perfect soul..
      Then spirit and soul can stay connected and move to the higher realms..
      Jesus washed feet! That's where we touch this world and connect to it.... "souls of your feet"! Hold you down until they let the higher self take over.. the spirit, the christ within! Meditation is the key!

      Ayo I'm someone who hasn't had an OBE and I know everyone who hasn't had one will also want to ask. Why don't we have proof yet? Like if you can prove OBE's are more than just a vivid dream even if it takes months of trying to have an OBE in lab conditions you could get a million bucks from James Randi.

    I am an avid obe..when I was much younger it started in the form of sleep paralysis..many years later when I grew tired of the fear I learned to relax and ride into it..let me tell you what a life changer..what I can do while remaining fully conscience why sleeping is incredible..those who never experienced will never know so in turn will never believe so when I try to explain the loud vibration and the sense of being rushed at 6g's through an amazing vortex of bright colors can only be known and understood by those who have truly experienced.what I could tell you what lies beyond the realm of human conscience would blow your mind..it is real and we do exist.

    I had the most extraordinary OBE a day before this post.Let me summarize it:)
    1. It is not a dream, sleep paralysis, hallucination ( such as drug induced ones). The mind was clear , lucid , and 100% aware of what is happening. There was awe and astonishment at what is going on but no fear.
    2.The experience itself lasted for an undetermined time but it seemed dilated ( undetermined duration or different time flow sensation).

    I wasn't asleep when I got knocked out and was very aware I was floating above my body and back about 10 feet. I watched my mother bend over my body. The next thing I remember is floating above my brother and sister watching them eat cherry jello. I saw my mom on the phone flipping out to my dad about me. The next thing I know I'm laying on the couch.

    If you are looking down at your body from the ceiling please tell me how that is possible. Sight is possible because we have eyes and a system of nerves that send the information to the brain. If you are floating on the ceiling and witnessing a doctor working on your body your consciousness or spirit has left your body and is working independently of your brain. If your consciousness travels to another room through walls that says you have definitely left your body. Theae doctors will come up with some wacky explanations to avoid saying the obvious, that our consciousness can function independently from our brain.

    No one knows anything about it except the oldest guy. The experience I had was normal. Never saw anything different then what I always see. Just perception was heightened calmly. Noticed things more deeply and lovingly. Felt beyond death. Felt like god. Felt like i was above my head energetically while in my belly energetically. The feeling of shrinking within my body. Seeing myself inside the thought system then detaching as a result of being aware of my awareness. The experience I used to explain to people but then became problem seeking, seeking in general and never an experience like that since 9 years ago.

    The most puzzling thing about OBEs is that they can experience true information about the world around them and that is the question Kevin did not answer and the video went off when he seemed to be about to answer it. He did menton that OBEs can be induced, so why don't they test that ability to observe true information. Get someone out of their body and afterward ask them what things they saw and heard that they could not have seen or heard from where their body was, and if they are able to control where they go when out of their bodies then there you have an excellent test bed begging to be used.

    I've had three oobe's that occured many years ago. If someone were to ask me to remember any dream I had ever had, you have to make an effort to recall any specifics. The three I had were incredibly vivid and I've always been able to recount every detail very distinctly. That was 30 years ago. If you asked me to detail a dream in the last year, I would be hard pressed to be able to with any specificity. Dreams fade away. Oobe's don't.

    You don't know unless you have had an O O B experience. Mine all happened when I was near death through illnesses that cause severe dehydration, and therefore heart disturbance. Most of these experiences are to do with almost dying. That is the explanation. It is your Soul Force that leaves your body and returns if you are lucky and survive. In my own experiences, I could see very well, but only hear telepathically.

    I was Flat line for 9 seconds, ever since I have experienced this thing, when ever it happens is something that I do not want to do it just happens. I go to bed and in between falling asleep and being aware, there's were I see my self sleeping and go places, problem? When I want to get back into my body I feel awfully tired and thirsty. And it scares the shit out of me. No fun in traveling like this.

    He does not (and can not) explain how you can have a visual perspective from a different angle in a room... if your eyes are attached to your body, how can you see as if your eyes were in a different location in the room? Unless is a dream... like they seem to suggest (or some other “brain activity”)... but that is not the case, people see things and hear things that actually are real.

    If you think of us as magnets with our constant charge spiralling round our DNA, then when we are on low energy output through sleep or death then the electromagnetic (our body) switches off and no longer holds the consciousness. It can then move freely in the aura of the earth's electric magnetic charge. I've experienced this and it also explains some of the predictive dreams I've had

    Kevin Nelson uses scientific language but doesn't answer the question or deal with the data. There is surely a difference between a sensation of being out of the body, which is common and can be induced, and evidential data gained by people who have had the experience of non-local consciousness, intentionally or unintentionally.

    From biblical times to the present day, people have reported experiences which would not be in keeping with science. For example, an out of body experience - if taken at face value is not something most scientists would accept. Instead they say what is really happening is purely neurological. I believe out of body experiences may be actually happening but the neurological processes are also happening. This is the interface between the physical and the divine.

    I've had several OBE's, it started with accidents and things of that nature. Can you get real info while you are out, yes, I left Norfolk Va., and went back to Ohio and read my mother's license plate of a vehicle I had never seen. I've done stuff like this my whole life, you can hear things from anywhere in the world if you simply focus while you're out, or not if you can tune in. I can see, hear, feel, taste, etc, things when I'm not there, such as looking through someone else's eyes as they ride through a city I've never been to in my life and tell them what's around them and what they are seeing and be spot on. I took a few years and dove in deep to learn more, well it turned into about 30 years or more, thought I was crazy for a bit and had to see people for it, but then I accepted that we are energy and can tap into things and do things if we allow our minds to open and tap into it. I've been tested by an ex FBI agent, put in books, a documentary, named as one of the top most truthful, trusted, and honest psychics in 26 countries, and some more crap. The problem is that there are way more fakes out there trying to be what they call psychic than there are real people. These are the ones that are great at telling lies to customers for huge amounts of money and are able to keep them coming back again and again. Me, well, people were scared of me, I gave the info of what I got and if I got nothing I'd simply tell them I couldn't tap into anything. I got tired of the industry, as with everything it's about the money, if you have money out of the gate to advertise yourself you can do well, but it was always the shallow stuff people always wanted info for, and often they just needed a little common sense. Client after client would be, "Is he cheating on me, we live together but he only comes by to spend the night about twice a week now and never contacts me until he's at work, and then add on fifty other clues that the person was without a doubt not being honest." It got old quick. I spent at least 2 1/2 hours daily in different mental states meditating, alpha, theta, delta, I could be in Delta and catch myself snoring yet completely conscious, seeing things are the same thing as a dream, but you're awake for it. I don't do it anymore, got out of the biz, and major health issues messed me up, never got back into it. I'm on file with police dept around the country to work on cases, I've worked on murder cases and missing children cases successfully, but I hate it, being in the mind of both the victim and the attacker is quite disturbing, so I don't like it or do any of it anymore. I've had experiences for as long as I can remember, I have a hard time dealing with the world because I've simply never seen it the way most people do, I was very introverted about it my whole life until I finally got tired of living a lie and started showing it to people. I stopped that pretty much because getting accused of working with the devil can be dangerous in today's world, it's just baffling to me that people can't see past their egos enough to realize we are more than just the physical body. I tried religions and spirituality stuff, but to me, it's simply science we haven't figured out yet about our own energy and how we can control it with our conscious minds, it's unexplained science to me. I used it to help people for most of my life, yet can't do it to help myself, I have no money, disabled with no medical or financial help care with autoimmune disorders, and have chronic pain 24/7, and I know that can be fixed as well with the mind, I just never got that far before becoming disabled. So, as far as that goes it's never helped me live well in this world. I guess I could have if I'd thrown in plenty of lies and would do police work, it's hard on you and burns off your energy quickly so you have to sleep to recover after doing work with people. Without really knowing how to navigate that world and not having a lot of info on it you can drain your energy to the point that I did and it has very negative effects on you. There are ways to prevent it, but I had been going too long before I looked into schools to learn more about myself. I turned to medical help and they basically tried to kill me, there's nothing that controls things I have and they were feeding me pills and higher and higher doses that were killing me, not the actual diseases themselves, but the side effects of the medications. I got off all of that garbage and hosed for life in that area now. Still yet, I am always looking into it and thinking about getting into something like hypnosis to do shows and help people, always things with the mind, It's just how I am built, and it's never going away completely, to be a top pro I had to work at it daily, effort and work morning to dawn every single day, it's no different than a pro athlete, they don't get that for free, they have to work at it. So, I also talk a lot when it comes to these types of subjects due to personal life experiences, if you haven't noticed so I'll shut up, lol.

    Had a Strange experience myself was just after the London Bombings a very stressful time was asleep next to my Girlfriend I remember being awake just about to fall asleep and the strangest thing happened it felt like a giant pair of hands grabbed me by my feet and it was like when your trying to get the last bit of toothpaste out of the tube as you roll it up and then a popping sensation and like a pillow being pulled out from under my head next thing I was floating on the ceiling in the corner of the room and could see myself in bed and my girlfriend , I do remember fear like whats going on it lasted for about 30 seconds and bang I just flew back into my body ans started thrashing about in bed in a panic still don"t understand it

    I was eleven when I slept on the top floor of my parents' house. One night I had the feeling I fell down through my bed and the floor to the landing at the second floor. Right in front of me I saw the bathroom door open, and one of our cats appeared and started climbing the stairs to the top floor.
    I was still wondering how this was possible. I was supposed to be in bed! I saw my hands, they were almost completely transparent. Then I noticed a cord coming from my body going up to the top floor.
    I decided to follow the cat. I gained in to him and passed towards my room, hovering right above the floor. I saw him climbing onto my bed, and all of a sudden I was back into my body. My head jerked upward and I looked straight to the cat which was walking on my body. I took it up and brought it downstairs, finding the bathroom door open, just as I saw it first.

    I had one where I was out of body lower than my physical body so that happens too. I was very exhausted and was laying in the back of a car, the top half of my body came out of my body and my astral head etc ended up hanging down under the car.
    I want that disbelieving expert to explain to me how I could find see a voucher hidden on top of my wardrobe and read the shops name of it, a shop I didn't even think did gift vouchers and also read the amount it was for. (my boyfriend was not happy that his surprise I didn't even know he got me and he'd hidden it there was ruined by my OBE)

    I usually go from sleep paralysis to OBE then sometimes it turns into a lucid dream. When I have a OBE, I usually float around like I'm in zero g and cant move my body very well. Then it progresses from there. I kinda slip out of my body when I go into the OBE.

    Why then can people who go out of body report things they saw in rooms down the hall, what was on top of filing cabinets, for example. Rooms they never entered physically. How can they also accurately report conversations between surgeons and nurses in rooms down the halls when they themselves are supposedly sedated on the table under surgery? And report correctly what those doctors were wearing down the hall? These biological-model-only guys have become utterly laughable. There's so much data that isn't explained, which they are conveniently ignoring because they are so invested in the model of reality they were taught. I've accidentally gone out of body and floated down a hall, and it is definitely real. Subtle bodies are being registered more and more as our technology gets better at reading these extremely fine energies. Subtle bodies can apparently go through closed doors; I did. I was 8 at the time and had never heard such a thing was possible; was merely upset at having been forced to go to bed before I was ready. Was utterly shocked. So it wasn't suggestion.

    why do scientists always find the need to explain everything,if there is something after death ect leave it alone be glad that theres more to come after this life rather than putting so kind of explanation to try and prove we live we die that's it,they always try and find so kind of negative response to something good

    • @chrismanuel1181
      @chrismanuel1181 8 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      Why do they need to explain everything? Because that's the purpose of science! To question and find out why stuff is! The computer you're using to read this is because of science. The more we understand the more technological we become. The day we stop asking questions is the day our civilization dies. You can thank science you don't pray to Zeus when you hear thunder. We understand what is happening when it rains now because of science.

    Hi there, I'm wondering if you can help, I suffer from OBE's and Sleep Paralysis. My doctor is unwilling to consistently prescribe sleep meds and when I'm not on the meds I get SP and OBE's. The SP I can deal with however the OBE's are ruining my life, I'm having them at least once a week, they feel like they last for ages and sometimes I find it really hard to get back inside my real body. Is there anyway to stop the OBE's without taking drugs? You mention about transcranial stimulation, is there any way I can get on a medical trial for that? Is there anything else I can do to at least reduce the OBE's or is there any technique I can do to end them quickly if they happen. Blinking works if I get SP (it's the only part of my body I can move when in SP) however with OBE's nothing seems to work other than wading through to get back. My doctor suggested I put a clock in the room and look at the clock when having the OBE but it didn't work. He's basically said there's not anything else that can be done and that I should just accept them and live with it.

    تجربة الطلوع من الجسد او كما يسمونها بالانجليزيه
    Out Of Body Experience
    وهي التي تحدث عنها فلم الرعب المشهور Insidious والذي يحكي قصة ولد دخل في غيبوبة طويلة.
    وهي تجربه يشعر بها البعض خلال مرحلة الREM
    او حركة الجفن السريع التي تعتبر رابع مرحلة اذا حسبت المرحلة البداءية للنوم او المرحلة الثالثة الرئيسية اذا لم تحسبها. وهي المرحلة التي يستغرق العقل تماما في النوم، وترى في الفيديو الدكتور الذي يتحدث اولا يناقش ان سبب هذا الشعور بانك وانت ناءم تطير فوق جسدك او تخرج منه هو من مركز في المخ يعمل على احاطتنا بالمكان والزمان لا يعمل تماما خلال هذه المرحلة، بينما يجادله الدكتور الثاني بأنه ليس مهتم بأصحاب هذه التجربة وهم ناءمون ولكنه مهتم بهذه الحالة عندما يتوفى المريض لعدة دقاءق خلال السكته القلبية او العمليات الجراحية ويمر بها، لان المخ يكون متوقف عن العمل (رغم انه ليس متوفي سريريا) ولذلك لا يوجد تفسير منطقي لان الانسان يرى ويسمع اشياء خارج عن نطاق معرفته، مثلا ماذا يحصل في الغرفة المجاورة لغرفته في المستشفى، واشياء من هذا القبيل، وذكرني كلامهم بحلقة الدكتور مصطفى محمود رحمه الله بعنوان: (ماذا بعد الموت؟ ) والتي يتحدث فيها عن تلك التجربة، ويفسرها بأنها وفاة مؤقته وليست سريرية لانه لا احد يستطيع الرجوع بعد الموت السريري ليحكي ماذا رأى، ويستدل ببعض الآيات في هذا الموضوع.

    I had my very first OBE early hrs this morning. But I was petrified. I just text a friend of mine who I can trust to tell her of my experience. I will copy paste it as I don’t want to recite it again sun as I thought I was going crazy at the time. ………
    Wanted to call you earlier about this but didn't think you'd be able to answer the phone. I went bed last night about 8:30pm. I woke on and off and eventually got outta bed around 1:40 am. Went back to bed feeling quite numbed which was a godsend about 3:30 ish after a coffee and a few ciggies. I had a very strange experience. It's hard to put in words. I was out of my body looking down (no I wasn't drunk I had coffee) It's like I drifted, like I floated it was frightening when I looked down I saw just flatness looked like a map or something you'd see from an aeroplane at night with some light reflection and squiggles it's hard to explain. Just flatness. I had floated off somewhere. I became terrified and when I came back down I could feel my bed beneath me. I felt I just died and I struggled but immensely felt my body sink lower in the bed and all my body arms legs went lifeless and I thought I was dead despite fighting it off then I lay quiet and lifeless I felt I was neither awake or asleep. Then I woke up petrified grateful to still be alive. I googled the first part of what happened. Realised it was a OBE out of body experience.
    What's happening to me? Xxx

    I had one last night,which is why I'm watching this. I often have sleep paralysis...last night while I first had a sensation on slipping/falling to the side and the slowly floated up to the ceiling and softly felt it on my back as I was wanting to go back down my body was lying by my husband with his arm around me and as I had began to slowly consciously float back down my husband stroked my back I was watching from above but felt the full sensation while still halfway between the ceiling and my body.

    I believe that these are two different types of out of body experiences. The experience when Someone is at cardiac arrest is not same as self induced out of body experience have many tests that are failed. Brain scans and other observations have shown that they are not realistic at all.

    Has anyone here ever smoked Salvia? I had an out of body experience that changed my life. It was terrifying and I would never suggest anyone ever do it. In my experience I died and stood behind myself. The scariest part was knowing that death was easier then life. The most enlightening part was knowing nothing I think I am and nothing I own is me or mine. When. You die your life is permit but your lifted away from it all.

    I am not a scientist, but I also am not content with just accepting something on faith alone. And I do not find those that seek out an answer to these long held faith based beliefs with an answer that is based in a physical reality to doing something negative. I applaud the efforts of anything that gives less credibility to metaphysical, spiritual, and religious charlatans.

    THE PLURAL OF ANECDOTE IS NOT DATA
    People could make guesses from experience while in this state and you are much more likely to remember a story where the person guessed correctly than incorrectly because the brain likes to find patterns

      +Elizabeth Mullen Just because one might CALL it an out of body experience, it does not follow that one has BEEN out of one's body.
      I have had many such experiences, I have also had lucid dreams, but have no reason to think they took place in the world outside my head.

    • @kallipolis1486
      @kallipolis1486 9 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Have you not been listening to the talk? This is why they are concentrating on patients who are suffering cardiac arrest where the patients are in front of them. You have many surgeons reporting the experiences of their patients and at the same time, bewildered at the fact that the patients have been able to say what has been happening in the room at a time when they should not be conscious.

    • @differous01
      @differous01 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      kallipolis 1 One speaker claims:
      "if you have a cardiac arrest, what happens to your eyes? They open!" (7:50)
      while another says:
      "I deal with them every week; they never open."
      How does one know which testimony is reliable?
      ____
      "..many surgeons reporting the experiences of their patients..."
      Yes, and when we've had time to recover our wits us patients often find simpler explanations than the 'bugaboo' we think and/or voice on initial recovery.
      I find the concentration on cardiac arrest victims suspect; it looks like a way of sweeping any comparison with dream states under the carpet.
      Having been revived from two cardiac arrests I do not find them so different from my dream states.

    • @kallipolis1486
      @kallipolis1486 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      "Yes, and when we've had time to recover our wits us patients often find simpler explanations than the 'bugaboo' we think and/or voice on initial recovery."
      You can explain that to the thousands of others who have had such experiences and neither they nor their surgeons or doctors are unable to give "simple explanations."
      "I find the concentration on cardiac arrest victims suspect;"- That would be due to the fact that sam is a cardiologist, so he would be taking it from first hand experience.

    So many in the comments are so dismissive... citing science doesn’t explain enough or at all however science doesn’t claim to be absolute. There is a history of scientific discovery and in the future these conversations will be a part of that. the more we come together and build upon it the better the science can be for it.

    This is how primitive modern science is: Sir do you believe i have a pen? Yes, i see you holding one. Ok, (i put the pen in my pocket). What about now, do you believe i have a pen? No, because i dont see you holding a pen. Ok, what about now (i take the pen out holding again)? Oh, yes you do have a pen... Considering his age he's probably with Jesus saying " IM SORRY" anyway ;)
