This is wonderful ! I like Hung-kuan Chen very much ! he speak Chopin Ballade No.1 so different ! and this girl play it very Tender, a different feeling to make the Chopin Ballade. Nice and Beautiful !
very disappointed to find Mr Chen's masterclass for etude 10 1 was removed from this channel :( i understand it was a different language but it was still the only masterclass on youtube for the etude and was incredibly inciteful despite the language. It showed great lessons on pivoting and workings of the finger. Hope it can be returned with subtitles or mR Chen can produce another someday

Yes, I also think so, the Hung-kuan Chen is the best piano teacher all over the world. He can teaching any composer's piece very well not only Chopin, but also I like his Mozart Master-Class in Shanghai. and his Liszt Sonata in b minor is very well ! Wow !!!!!!! Great Pianist

Very interesting masterclass. Pedal-use is not often discussed elaborately. Although, the information density in this masterclass could have been much higher.

The girl rushes too much, and a little slow understanding what he's trying to tell her. She has some sensitivity but quite not enough
you would know. LOL
She needs to practice resonance.

Her technique is not there yet. She could not play many of the passages!
