Cheap RC boat in saltwater Part I

I completely strip my UDIRC UDI908 ready to upgrade almost all components.

DS Power 12G Waterproof digital metal gear servo
Hobao 3 channel radio
Reuse 3S 1500mah battery and out runner brushless motor only
Spray paint the boat in electric matt blue.
Nothing goes to plan and we lost the ESC and Battery due to salt water flooding the boat.
Never use super glue on cooling hoses! always use silicon! Also the battery and ESC needs to be waterproofed Properly. that means more silicon or plastidip. the rubber thats on there is not enough. CorrosionX would have helped the battery as well, or INOX.
