Feedback: + punching back the enemies feels nice. + upercutting the birds feels nice. + it's rewarding to land the air attack as it's easy to miss. + the bonuses and the fact that they're announced brings a lot to the gameplay because it brings the player to have several things in mind at the same time. "Oh health !! But I'm going to get hurt if I attempt at catching it." Also, it's agreeable to be able to safely pick up a bonus between two waves of enemies. - it'd be great to be able to interact with something on the first level. Like destroying a brick wall, dodging a collapsing column or walking in a pool of mud that slows down the character's movement. Or simply destroying a wood sign. Anything that would slightly convey the impression that the protagonist is inside the world. Because he only interacts with the enemies.
Damn, I didn't know the release date had been announced officially, or I had forgotten. It's on Steam. June 2024 ! And there's a downloadable demo. Cool !
I've replaying the steam demo. The game is fun. Responding to the enemies attack is rewarding once you've understood the rolling+uppercut. Now, I have to say, the levels feel slightly short. And it's too easy to avoid the ice blocks falling from the sky.
my feedback is that some characters, Gareth for example, not be moving up & down when just standing there because its, idk, weird? unless hes been running or exerting energy then why is he doing that? hair or cape moving in the wind now & then or breathing heavily for a bit after action or the character doing something after standing for a while IMO are nice details though.
