I need to be heard. I am a 65 year old Widow what children that live nowhere near me. I woke up this morning my air conditioner was off one half of the house was off and I panicked. I'm also an extremely fixed income. I remember my 14 year old grandson telling me to go to TH-cam and ask them when you have problems. Thank you so much! I was dealing with resetting a tripped breaker switch which was in the middle position. Every time I switched it to the On position, it would not stay there. It wasn't until I watched your video that I learned how to do it correctly, which is to switch it to the OFF position and then all the way back to the ON position. Voila! You saved me a service call. Saved 300 bucks (Sears Repair estimate) thanks to a TH-cam video showing me how to replace the switch on my washing machine. Learned a hundred other things here. Why not ? YOU SAVED ME from an eve in the cold with no elec heat, thank you! 20 yo breaker 220 is really getting bitchy in it's old age but I forced it OFF, then reset it ON and it worked the second time I tried it, after watching your video. MOST electricians only show how to replace but in this case, if I am careful not to plug in 2 heaters full power same time, it works just fine ;-)
your little trick worked perfectly, I was having visions of something in the attic catching fire from a mouse eating the cable and creating a short circuit. Every time I tried turning the breaker on it flipped back off, until I turned it off and then on. Who would have thought!
