It kinda sucks that Will isn't hosting right now, but what I love about this show more than anything is the respect the competitors have for the judges, their opponents and their skill.

I like how they ask the contestants before every test if their are ready, or if they should do it, as if their was an alternative option. 😂

I love how they have to make it look older than it is so the photos are basically deep fried.
Am I the only one who thinks it should be Strength Test > Cut Test > Keel Test? That way if the knife is true and strong, and the "KEEL" will be even more precious!

To be fair, a gunsmithing show in this vein would be pretty cool I think.
There was no looser, just one bladesmith who won a little more than the other.

Bayonets weren't always meant to be sharp but they were meant to have a spring loaded catch that locks it to the bayonet lug.
Forged in Fire is an awesome show.

Is it just me, or really Brad was the guy who should have won? It's a thing that his bayonet got bent, but cmon.. it had a way better sharpness than the other guy's. Btw both were great and it was a really close match.

If they did this, they should do the classic Triangular Socket Bayonet, but drop the “triangular bayonet wounds can’t be survived/can’t be sewn/illegal in Genevia Convention”
All the convention specifically says is a bayonet with serrated edge.
The American bayonet in use today has a serrated back IIRC
