I still say this is the best sailing channel on TH-cam! I especially enjoyed the preparation of the different foods such as the smoked oysters, and pickled mackerel. Y'all are standing the test of time and I love it! Keep doing what you do :)

I watched a video of Kane Vato earlier today, and he was joking about how insecure he is around Pia’s father, a horse trainer. I was thinking of him learning lessons from Troy, and had to smile. My heart just blooms when watching Troy and Pascale enjoying the peaceful life. A book wouldn’t be enough to capture the knowledge and experience of these two.

Ducks are not Carnivorous, All ducks are omnivorous, however, It's fantastic to see truly genuine people on a sailing channel, I get so tired of the sailing channels, that are so obviously about the filthy lucre, that they forget sailing is about having fun and being free to go where you want to go and enjoying what you are doing.

You never stop to amaze me Pascy - Rollmops of all things in Australia made on a boat? It is traditionally made of North/Baltic sea herring (different from the local sort known by the same name). There is also a version of the pickled herring (a German dish) which is dusted with flower and fried before pickled as you showed it, very delicious. And I should recommend to use a couple of the Rollmops, drain and add a small fresh sliced onion into a bowl, two to three tablespoons of sour cream, a bit of mayonnaise, a teaspoon of sugar and a diced apple perhaps with a little bit of dill to be eaten with potatoes boiled in their skin and a glass of Tasmanian beer. Let me know what you think. 🙂

So interesting, the mackerel looked delicious, my favourite fish. So enjoy watching you two doing your thing and living the dream, you are a delightful couple and your adventures are awesome. It's amazing seeing the different types of weather you have to deal with, in England we seem to imagine Australia as just always hot so it is an education to see you in cold conditions, which is obviously common sense with the southern weather coming over to you. Thanks for the great adventures you take us on. Look forward to seeing you every week.

Welcome to Tassie chilly one day freezing the next!!! We've been up on Mt Welly in summer and its minus 5 then headed down the hill, to Hobart for a 35 deg C day..crazy - bit like Melbourne really!! But love it all the same. Started out housesitting there, got married there, bought a house in the Midlands and stayed 10 of the best years of our lives then headed back to WA to watch the grandies grow up. Best oysters ever (much better than the briny Coffin Bay SA ones) were from Tassies Barilla Bay, huge, tasty yummy morsels. Great to see you guys eating and enjoying them by chewing not swallowing whole.
