I've theorycrafting Asol top for a little while now, so I'm glad someone actually made it work. The change/adaptation I was considering was running Sunfire Aegis for the champs that can stick to you. Sunfire's aoe overlaps pretty seemlessly with Celestial Expansion's base range and he already works in an extended timeline in fights to make use of the ramping aura. Sunfure/Rylais (buy both, order is negotiable, into Demonic Embrace and it seems like a pretty solid setup.
Sunfire would be really good if he were to go as a proper "tanky" champ, actually. I think the problem is that it isn't a mana item, which is why he usually builds Everfrost or Crown.
I think riftmaker would acomplish the tankier build better, since you get alot of damage from it as well, and combining it with Demonics, rylai’s, cosmic drive ect gives you an insane amount of HP, you could also go mana tear first item and build that into fimbulwinter so you don’t have mana issues
I think frostfire gauntlet fit him more or even evensroud because with the gauntlet you can slow and space better the enemies and with evensroud you can make your team deal more damage and gain passive resistance
Oh hey, it's the top Sol guy from the Aurelion Sol Mains subreddit. It's pretty neat to see him here. As an Aurelion Sol main myself, I've played him top a few times, specifically when I've lane swapped with my Singed duo, due to one of us getting counterpicked really hard, or the guy's Singed being stolen by the enemy toplaner (Sol kind of demolishes Singed, after all). And honestly, it's quite solid. Its only real downside is that you're less likely to get a tank on your team that could set you up, but if you're good enough, then it shouldn't really matter. If you're new to Sol, and feel a bit intimidated by some matchups, then using Phase Rush could make it easier to kite and deal with heavy slows, while using Bone Plating could make it easier to survive the early game toplaners that have a boatload of damage. Exhaust can also make it easier to survive high damage melee champions. Otherwise, Saibot's setup seems pretty solid.
Tobias is my friend, you missed the part when in Season 10 we both got for our first time in Diamond EUNE and then when we were around D2 and I stopped playing that often he moved to EUW. The guy is a legend ngl.

My favourite is roaming kled mid, which I actually play from time to time as a counterpick to certain matchups. This one really blew my mind but is definetely near impossible to replicate sadly. @@zorandire3946 I think it makes sense when you consider the size of his stun and how often you can have his second ability up. You have a couple forms of crowd control and with flash you have a couple movement abilities as well
I actually played against him once as jax. I didnt respect him at all thinking he is just trolling. The exhaust worked against me and he was able to do surprisingly well in lane even killed me 2 or 3 times. But I won it anyway when I scaled and he roamed trying to make plays.
Now THIS is the pick I was waiting for to troll literally everyone because nobody else has probably anything to do with this champ that I honestly, just kinda forgor exists until now. Jokes aside, it took me this long,but I'm starting to finally realize how strong map influence can be in the current meta. Most (if not all) power off-picks have some sort of grotesque map pressure in their kit that they abuse into oblivion. Innovation giving way to a lack of experience from the other laner probably helps, too.
I just want to applaud him for getting the help for his anxiety. I myself dropped league almost entirely because my PTSD and anxiety were just destroying my will to enjoy the game. I now play dota because it's more thinking and suits me better, but like... I actually feel capable of growing in it.

Asol is my go to midlaner. As a top main, I've thought about bringing him there, but I've never dared ^^' The build looks very standard for an Asol tho, at least how I play him, so I might aswell try :P
Eyo it's nice to see this in action! I wanted to make him work as a permaslow menace, always roaming support in the past. His w got changed to the bursty version it is now though, which made it harder to be consistent.
Support asol works well I run electrocute with bounty hunter and stregonary secondary I pick the relic shield and then rilay into evensroud/ludens/rocketbelt/liandry, everfrost is pretty bad on him now and than I go for utility item like morello or void staff for deal damage
@@keyman3131 everfrost isn't good because don't give to you useful stats, ok it give all ap/hp/mana and a cc but isn't useful because isn't special for one situation, the stregonary runes are manaflow and scorch because of early damage with electrocute you can do beautiful early game and get the lead

Because if you don't have a way to keep people out of your inner range then you're unable to do any damage, and your ult or Q are some of the only ways to prevent that once people get on top of you (0_o)
@@keyman3131 if there's a team with Diana, yone, yasuo, irelia and about 3 champs who can burst you and dash into you I prefer to go with the bruiser build conqueror, presence of mind, tenacity, cup of grace, secondary determination with overgrowth and bone plating and items are rilay>demonic>evensroud>filmbumwinter and tank items or ap depending on the situation if I do this build before demonic or rilay I do the component called aegis of the legion for the anti burst and after I do the other things, If you need grievous wound build it it want ruins this build

Slows don't stack, the strongest slow on a target is chosen and when it wears off the next strongest slow effect is applied. Since Aurelion Sol R slows for 2 seconds and rylai's only slows for 1 second, so you'd only continue to slow them after R if you had Liandry's or Demonic Embrace.

Slow effect stack in the same way does %magic pen and armour per so if there's 2 slow the first to apllicate the effect is the highest so asol r with 60% then the rilay with 30% so if an enemy have 100 ms with r and rilay have 28 ms
Today I noticed I did 49 Aurelion sol jungler game this year. oups? There is potential in that pick through turbo-Chem. But it's somehow harder to play since you need to hit people with the item. You can cheese gank bot with 12 creep, but some aggressive jungler such as rengar/kindred can really be a pain.
This is the first one I'm going to definitely try. I always love A Sol when I get him in aram, can't play AP champs because most of them are squishy as hell, and only play top. Thanks 👍
Grasp all the way for me with Asol. Rylai's first then frostfire followed by Gargoyles demonics and abyssal mask. There are alot of item switch ups depending on the enemy comp but they are all health scaling items like if they have a bunch of squishy's you take out demonic and throw in titanic and steraks. Most fun i've ever had in league and you can easily end up with close to 100 grasp stacks if you play around that 4 second grasp timer. Glad to see i'm not the only one enjoying Asol.

I might take up ASol Top now. I’ve never thought about it, only played him mid, but I love playing him and I’m a toplane main. I main Volibear, who stomps on Irelia, so I can just ban Quinn (someone who stomps on Voli and ASol) and not worry about Irelia as much.
To be honest, that is the best off-meta/ off-role pick i've seen on this channel. I am surely not an a-sol player, but idk why, i would reccomand nashor tooth. Since people have to kite your q and stars, allow you, allow him to AA a lot.

about porofessor - The "stats" thing that let's you compare yourself to others in order to improve is a great addition. Let's you see in which areas you suck the most and it's cool. Everything else, imo, is a waste. People turn their brains off and play whatever the app feeds them without any thought given to these specific builds / build orders. There are plenty of situations where ofbuilds do better than meta builds simply because of the enemy team AND your team. (so simply both your and enemy players.) Have a nice one, the rest of the video is high tier, like everyone of yours. Love yout work !

I've seen Asol top before, but iirc it wasn't a very good gameplay. Nevertheless it has always seemed rather reasonable for me to see him at top, because i thought he has the Ryze syndrome of getting destroyed in the lane he was made for.
i like the new item system because it encourages creativity more, but if the only way to make certain champions viable is going tank (tank-maw, tank-sol, hullbreaker-graves, etc) something is seriously broken with the game.
Asol is stronger full ap but versus some comp you get oneshotted so a bruiser build make him suitable for all occasions, the bruiser build isn't very used is like a counter pick for some champ comp like zed/draven/Diana all together

I might take up ASol Top now. I’ve never thought about it, only played him mid, but I love playing him and I’m a toplane main. I main Volibear, who stomps on Irelia, so I can just ban Quinn (someone who stomps on Voli and ASol) and not worry about Irelia as much.

To be honest, that is the best off-meta/ off-role pick i've seen on this channel.
I am surely not an a-sol player, but idk why, i would reccomand nashor tooth.
Since people have to kite your q and stars, allow you, allow him to AA a lot.
His auto attacks do less damage that AD Yuumi auto-attacks, so idk about that.

about porofessor - The "stats" thing that let's you compare yourself to others in order to improve is a great addition. Let's you see in which areas you suck the most and it's cool.
Everything else, imo, is a waste. People turn their brains off and play whatever the app feeds them without any thought given to these specific builds / build orders.
There are plenty of situations where ofbuilds do better than meta builds simply because of the enemy team AND your team. (so simply both your and enemy players.)

I've seen Asol top before, but iirc it wasn't a very good gameplay. Nevertheless it has always seemed rather reasonable for me to see him at top, because i thought he has the Ryze syndrome of getting destroyed in the lane he was made for.
i like the new item system because it encourages creativity more, but if the only way to make certain champions viable is going tank (tank-maw, tank-sol, hullbreaker-graves, etc) something is seriously broken with the game.
Asol is stronger full ap but versus some comp you get oneshotted so a bruiser build make him suitable for all occasions, the bruiser build isn't very used is like a counter pick for some champ comp like zed/draven/Diana all together
You should do a “update episode” like going back on older videos you’ve done
