Lomankchenko tries to make big fights but there's no takers. He had to move up in weight to find second class opponents. - He would probably beat up macregor worse than Floyd will.

Vasyl has a completely different style from Floyd, and Conor was trying to prepare for Floyd. It probably wouldn't have helped him to bring in Vasyl since his style is so different

Lomachenko isn't in the position to teach boxing to Conor 2 weeks before the fight. Be Realistic. Lomachenko is just trying to get in the spotlight. If Lomachenko is that good he can subscribe to the list .. Conor isn't impressed by Triple G or Canelo. Why would he be impressed by boxers below Floyd ( Manny Pacquiao, Lomachenko etc ). IF Floyd lose the fight it will be a drama for the boxing community. There's somme arrogance in Conor's shit talk but this is how confident he is. He is not disrespecting boxing. He just said there's another way of boxing people are not aware of ... Floyd is unable to tell anyone how he will win the fight or in which round he will KO Conor. That speaks for itself. Nobody knows what will happen. Floyd could KO Conor with one single left body shot. Conor could KO Floyd with one single upercut or left hook. The opposition of style is in favor to conor despite what the boxing community thinks. It will be quick and brutal with extreme rythm and mouvements. Just like in a street fight. If floyd is good, he will last 5 minutes.
Connor has nothing to prove because its his first professional boxing match. Connor even when he loses gets payed a lot of money so you can write it off as Connor just wanting to get payed and he even stepped in the ring with Floyd to do it.
Floyds only disadvantage is that he took the fight and even if he had not the world would've called him a pussy for not wanting to fight. That's the true tragedy of sports today and how the world perceive people at the top.
Now ask yourself everyone thought Pacman was the man to beat floyd. Everyone wanted him to win but Floyd neutralized Pac. Everyone leading up to all of Floyds fight have all said this is the guy to beat him. This is no different not even because Connors from MMA.
Come Aug 26th the world will be disappointed again Floyd will re-retire again and Connor will walk away with a lot of money and an improved striking game which he will take back to MMA and rule with for a while.
GGG or Canelo are not impressed by McGregor. Both need only one minute and Connor would leave the ring in a coffin. Connor has never taken a punch of this quality. Canelo would knock him out with a bodyshot. For both Connor isn't more of a threat, than a small child.

To begin with no Boxer gave Conor a chance in hell. I think that was to do with protecting their own credibility and income. If someone from the left-field steps into the ring and beats a living boxing legend then what does it say about these so called Boxers. Truth be told, Boxing and Boxers are not what they used to be - These days it's just business between the inner-circle. Look at some recent results that prove my point, Danny Green over Roy Jones Jr (even if was past his best), recent Pacquiou loss to a school teacher down-under! Now, after seeing Conor train and talk, Boxer's have realised that this guy is a serious threat - They have gone very quiet all of a sudden. Boxing money reserved for thugs will now be announced open to the people by Conor!!!

You talk about boxing as if its irrelevant as a combat sport. Last I checked MMA fighers are made up of stand up and ground game. Kickboxings relevent to the different avenues of striking both high an low and with greater range with legs and quick precision shots when in the dead zone with quick jabs and knees. Grappling and grappling defense is needed if you lack in striking or are just being out classed in stand up.
None the less if your outclassed in boxing you don't have the crutch of being able to grapple. You have to adapt and adjust and adapt and adjust the entire time. In MMA if your losing in stand up you take it to the ground. If your losing on the ground you keep it at arms length and hope for a KO.
In boxing there's no crutches except the clench and if your like Floyd where your defense is to tightened that you literally neutralize elite boxers and make there punching power significantly drop because of your ability to make punches skim and roll off you something MMA fighters know nothing about because of the ludicrous amount of ways you can attack.
To say boxings one dimensional is only true to the untrained eye. Boxing as dimensional as MMA the only difference is true boxing fans enthusiasts and actual trainers and people who eat and live it know just how diverse boxing really is. The clench is the only break you get besides getting knocked down or rounds over.
Don't ever sit there an say something unless you've thought it through. Boxings as timeless as chess.
