Mine thru no codes on the 4 cylinder model had to figure out my issue on my own. But fixed it and turned out I melted 1 ignition coil do to a valve cover pinhole in my 1st cylinder...... what are the odds lol. Sometime you have to actually look and go back to the old school mechanic skills because the computer isn't always going to pick up the problem

No, the computer will not always pinpoint the issue, but it will definitely put you in the right vicinity, which is in and of itself helpful, that’s for sure!!! Then you may have to do some searching and/or bring out the old school mechanic skills!!!

I got an interesting problem. Replaced all the spark plugs and ignition coils. Car starts then shuts off immediately, throwing codes for 5 of the new denso ignition coils p0351 p0354 etc

That is beyond my skill. Maybe unclip the mass air flow sensor and see if it starts and does not shut off.

@@fenix0green Figured out one of the connectors wires got put in backwards somehow. Codes went away cars running fine now. 🤷‍♂️

nice video. I am having those error codes on coil 1. mine is a 2007 Rav4 Limited, with about 218k.otherwise car still runs great. new shocks and struts earlier this year. an alternator also this year, and an oil pump a few years ago is all I have needed to do maintenance wise. I bought it in 2014 with 160k on her

Thank you for the video! I just bought a 06 V6 with 120,000 miles. How's your 06 running after 200K miles?

      Still runs good

@@fenix0green Good to know! What was your recent big maintenance expense? I think i might need plugs and shock/struts soon.

@@Eklipze The front shocks/struts was my big expense. 2nd most expensive was getting 4 door check (holds the door in position) mine when the Santa Ana winds blow the door will swing. They were wore. ~240 got Toyota ones.
When mine shocks were bad going over railroad track at 20mph bounces the whole car.
Plugs? you mean ignition coil? Those are ~57 bucks for each.

I did mine the other day seems to have cut my bad idle and throwing codes while idling for long. Periods, doing PCv this weekend to try and solve the riddle whole set for 50-60$ on eBay

try to see if you have a vacuum leak, or clean the Mass airflow sensor. or try scotty kilmer or other youtube channels. best of luck

You would think all that oil in the spark plug hole would lube up the threads so the spark plugs comes out easier - it does not! 🙍🏽‍♂️
