This is truly inspiring. Congratulations. From what I can gather, you were using Mepps spinners with a bit of ragworm on the hook . . . I am just starting out as a "mullet stalker", so I am learning as much as I can and value all suggestions / tips that you can share. Thank you!
So good to see you holding your own with your guests and taking centre stage mate, with all the practice, maybe it should happen more often!! Keep up the great work Gooner Tom 🎣🎣🎣🎣
A great encouraging video Tom. Keep them coming. Can I just ask one question. This seems a fantastic thing to do when I come down to visit my son in Bournemouth. He dosen't fish anymore apart from the times I come down with tackle. Would I need a rod licence for him when fishing in the harbour for the Mullet? Oh, just one more, what would youT consider the best tide to fish? Thanks Andy B
Thanks for the nice comment :-) You don't need a rod licence, but will need a day permit. You can get this on the Go Catch Fish app. My favourite tide is an ebb tide (going out) down to an evening low. So this time of year a low of around 9pm will give perfect fishing from 6pm until 9pm. Nice after work session!
Hi Keith. We normally stock these, but are out of stock (they sell very quickly!). They are due back in before the end of the month though. They're £95, which is a bargain for such a beautiful rod. I do have the shorter version in stock at the moment.
Real on this session. Mainly because I'm waiting for my next big delivery of Isome from Japan, so stock are low. Should be here in the next few days though.
Nice session Tom. I went on the second day, nowt. Just gotta find the time to get back down there. Is the net you using rubberised? as I always have a problem with my hooks getting stuck in a normal mesh.
I could easily hate you Tom, this coming from a frustrated angler awaiting his first mullet. I really need to get down to Christchurch for a couple of days. Great video as always, even better when that music stopped…..just saying. 👍
Hi mate. I did a little video a few weeks back showing the set up, hopefully that'll have all the info you need... th-cam.com/video/2LeC5S0XMqk/w-d-xo.html

Fan-blooming-tastic mate!!! Well done. That's a heck of a first fish!

Hi Tom can you tell me where I can get the savage gear rod you use thank you love the videos and what price 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣

Hi Keith, if you were still interested in a rod I have had my delivery now, so plenty in stock again :-)
Real worm or fake? Great video. Haven't seen the mullet in Swanage or studlsnd yet. Still waiting.

Yeah, the start of the season was poo💩! So glad it's back on track now. The net is rubberised. I wouldn't go back to a normal net now! Game changer!

Great video as always, even better when that music stopped…..just saying. 👍
🤣🤣 I won't take it personally! You should pop down one day, we're lucky to have such a lovely harbour full of fish!
I am curious what kind of rods and reels are you using I have wanting to get into Catching mullet

@@FishyTom thank you 😁
Do you use. RAID or mono for mullet spinning Tom
I use braid, but a light mono will also work.
Hi Tom can you put one back for me please when they come in and some line hooks and spinners
No probs mate
nice 1 c a c
Thanks mate
If x is happiness and y is fish, then x is equal to 5 times y. See, maths in nature at work! Enjoyable to watch you being enjoyed? Cheers
🤣🤣🤣 Love that mate! Thank you! I think if we stuck that on a graph, the curve would be exponential.
