@@alexnewsome24 tbh I don’t find the ult stack useful the 220 heal alone already makes her really hard to kill if you strafe the enemies shots so I normally try and spread the damage out and cover more healing area for my team as well

Also, cloaks regular attacks are lock on for both damage and healing. She’s great at taking out enemy flyers like Storm, Ironman etc. I usually focus them if we have a second healer. Also good at getting Hawkeye to relocate. Her attacks have long range.
She's also really good at healing fliers as well, I started picking up Cloak and dagger since I've been playing with a lot of fliers recently and it's kinda hard to heal them with a main healer like jeff
Hello, Mr. Kayjii, thank you for the video guide. I've been on the dagger grind myself since I wanted to learn more than playing Luna, and now I love Cloak and Dagger for their playstyle, it gives me that Ana, bap, and Moira feeling of waving in damage while healing that I love. However, while watching, I did get some good tips; I feel a few things were missing, and I wanted to add to the video some stuff I learnt from either playing the game or other videos. Firstly: Daggers well, daggers have lock-on with teammates and enemies at close to mid-range, making them easy to hit as they home in (that's why her accuracy is always high). But they also can bounce off walls. I believe it's only a bounce, but bouncing off of walls is very good for teammates as the homing on them is very ungenerous. So even if the angle isn't perfect, you should try bouncing off of walls as they might home in on your teammate Secondly, Cloak shift is good, like you said, to counter ults and stay alive, but the thing to note is that teammates will uncloak if they use an ability or reload. So, if you are using it to counter an ultimate, you have to either tell your teammates not to do anything while in it or hope they know that. Ultimate tracking is good for this. Thirdly, speaking of the ultimate, it is good for engaging with its healing, but it is good at countering the same, as you said. If Groot traps you and your team, you can use your ultimate as it not only heals your team as they are stuck in it, so they can't run out of it, and also you get unstuck and can move out of it. You can counter Psy ultimate, I believe, with it as she'll go after and you'll be standing in healing, wasting her ultimate. I use mine mainly like this, to live/counter. Lastly, I wanted to add that with Cloak's shift, you can cancel it by switching back to Dagger. You don't have to wait until the cooldown is over or cancel it and then switch; you can cancel it by switching, saving a little time if a flanker is on you. Those are some of my tips. For the video, I wished you had gone more into dealing with flankers. Like me and many people, I would assume that is many of our problems. The only thing I got told was to play close if you can to trigger healing with your daggers, save a volley of daggers (the orb) for self-healing, and use cloaks fade to fly away; otherwise, just play close to your other healer or in, the back to see them when they flank. If you did a video on that, I would greatly appreciate it. I would also love it if you did a video while talking out loud, saying what you are doing and why you are doing it, to better explain and show the ideas in action more in-game. I know doing it live is hard, but even a voiceover after the game would be great. Anyway, sorry for the wall of text, but I felt like this video was great; I just wanted to add a little more to make it stand out more. I did learn a lot from this; I didn't know cloaks blind shield amplified damage; I thought it only blinded. Good video, keep it up.
@kayjii Alright, I probably should have taken that from "ultimate beginner guide", lol. Those would be some good videos, same if you did talk out loud about your thought process. The only thing I would add to this video, then, if it is just a very basic talk about their kit, is the dagger lock-on and bouncing off of walls and maybe talking while playing in a QP game to better show off their kit in a none high-intensity game. Even without those, this is great for a new person, even I learnt from it
As a C&D main myself, I very much appreciate & approve this Guide! I mean if someone use her right u can get beyond 20k Heal & 10-15K Damage with 20-40 Kills!
I'd like to chime in and say I also did not know her heals were AoE, that her ult lines stacked (both damage and heal), that Cloak's rectangle did more than just blind or that you could go vertical with Cloak's shift. Thanks for the info. I saw in the comments that you were going to make an advanced guide too, can't wait to see what else I learn from that one. I think it's also worth noting (maybe you did and I forgot, but), I believe the heal rectangle self casts as well, amping heals on yourself (from dealing damage to a close enemy) too. Which can be helpful when being dove if you don't have Cloak escape on available. Some things that could use some clarity: The hitbox for their rectangle. Sometimes it looks like it can go through walls, but others it stops. I suspect that the center is the actual hit box for determining if it can do so or not, but is it a tiny dot that needs to go around the wall or... Does the phased condition stop you from receiving healing too? ie while phased does standing in her bubble or their ult still heal you? Is the AoE part of her basic heal dagger the same as hitting an ally directly with the dagger? The answer could change who you're supposed to target with her primary fire pretty drastically. Does the AoE heal on her primary require LOS for healing? The daggers can potentially bounce off walls or home in behind a wall. Do allies still receive the healing if it does? Don't forget to mention that allies shooting/using abilities takes them out of phased too. That was also something that I didn't understand via my gameplay.
I love to throw down daggers healing bubble and then switch to cloak and stay near to constantly heal and do better damage. It really helps cloak stay in the fight longer
Big tip: your ult’s AOE effects stack if you put them on top of each other. If you stack two + use your AOE heal you can tank most ults in the game, just call out or ping your area

@@kingslay727 You'll likely notice what I mean at the Diamond or Grandmaster level and above. There's a reason heroes like Iron Fist are less effective at these ranks, most duelists lean toward bursty heroes or those with one-shot ultimates. It's because strategists at this level heal 9 million health per round, making sustained damage less viable
@ so another words it becomes a tank heal off. Witch ever team has the better tanks and faster heals wins kills don’t play a part it Strictly time. I see that’s makes senses most high ranks are like that in most games. Will you say the tanks matter or can he be done with any tank?
@@kingslay727 Meta heroes become increasingly important as you climb the ranks because players learn to fully exploit their potential to gain an advantage. For example, a hero like Venom is practically nonexistent at Grandmaster/Eternity ranks, whereas heroes like Doctor Strange and Magneto are picked almost every round.
I am still a little confused about cloaks dark teleportation. It says everyone in the range are untargetable and they get invisability . Allies can still get picked up by an enemy Jeff for instance but Jeff cant eat you up as cloak. So that would mean you also become invinceble right?
The effect gets removed if you use an ability I believe. I know for a fact that it’s removed if you shoot an enemy as cloak uses the ability; it can make the entire team dodge Jeff ult if they don’t happen to cancel it
Does her AOE on primary fire stack with the base heal? Like the website says her primary fire heals 10 while the aoe heals 18, so does that mean the target hit actually is healed 28 total? Because 10 healing doesn't feel right at all. Also is the damage effected by AOE or is it just healing? The site says she does 15 damage which means it would take 18 hits to kill a 275 hp hero, can't test currently but that doesn't feel Right
I didn't realize that Cloak's "E" has a damage amplifier. I knew it does a bit of damage and blinds the opponent. Do you know how much it amplifies the damage?
Dawg I need an answe to this, does cloak have faster movement speed than dagger or does dagger walk faster than cloak? Cause I feel like she moves faster but if I walk as cloak and then switch to her I feel like the switching gives a little bit of a speed boost
Im so tired of ppl not knowing how dagger heals work. Ive told so many ppl😂ppl are always like "heals," and im like, "go to tank." The AOE is a pretty big radius and it heals the same amount. Of course if ur off in the distance, ill heal u but if ur behind me and im healing tank, u need to move in front of me for heals. Also ppl need to understand if I cloak u during a ult, dont shoot or use abilities. It breaks ur cloak and then i cant protect u. Obviously cloak and dagger work better in a team setting. But i feel as ppl figure her out, more and more ppl will understand how to play with dagger
I’ll keep improving as I create more videos. Thank you for the feedback! I recommend turning on captions, it should make everything easier to understand.

Is avg 30k healing a game good?
How much damage though?
Great! Now do it in solo queue and see how that goes. 😆
Wtf ended up top 500
I am still a little confused about cloaks dark teleportation. It says everyone in the range are untargetable and they get invisability . Allies can still get picked up by an enemy Jeff for instance but Jeff cant eat you up as cloak. So that would mean you also become invinceble right?
The effect gets removed if you use an ability I believe. I know for a fact that it’s removed if you shoot an enemy as cloak uses the ability; it can make the entire team dodge Jeff ult if they don’t happen to cancel it
@@kingd1486 i believe what happends jsut before the JEff ult hits is that they use an attack and cancel the effect yeah.
im just like everybody else huh? nobody knew that dagger's heal was aoe lmfaoaoaoa💀💀
I Need that Chrossair
You can find it on my twitch stream, just type !crosshair
Love FPS/TPS but I suck at aiming... that's why I main Cloak and Dagger!
The site says she does 15 damage which means it would take 18 hits to kill a 275 hp hero, can't test currently but that doesn't feel Right
Yes it does stack. It describes every other aoe attack/ability in the same way.
first tip should be buying the skin hehe
THE CAKE ON HER IS CRAZY
What is the best situation for cloak dps then? I feel like a lot of the passives of daggers auto fire. I only use cloak for his kit tbh.
to fight flankers or push after a won fight to finish off the remaining players
heyyyyy whats your gpu
how did you turn off all lights etc?
It was a config but its not allowed anymore
do u play luna?
Yes
Cloak & Dagger are so fun and lowkey OP. I just wish Cloak's dark teleportation wasn't so bugged
Bugged how?
It's not bugged. If your teammates attack while cloaked they will take damage again.
what are your crosshair settings?
You can find them on my twitch channel just type !crosshair
I didn't realize that Cloak's "E" has a damage amplifier. I knew it does a bit of damage and blinds the opponent. Do you know how much it amplifies the damage?
20%
What if my team goes in by them selves and did?
Did they nerf the selfheal?
No
@kayjii i didn Heal Up when i was Low With AA
@@Godsane you need to be close to the target
@@kayjii thx ❤️😂
Ive had some situations where my projectiles pass THROUGH my alloes and hit enemies is this normal?
I think it passes through fully hp Allie’s. Or maybe you accidentally targeted the enemy
tysm daddy
AYO
Dawg I need an answe to this, does cloak have faster movement speed than dagger or does dagger walk faster than cloak? Cause I feel like she moves faster but if I walk as cloak and then switch to her I feel like the switching gives a little bit of a speed boost
I’m pretty sure it’s the same
@ saying it’s an isekai is like saying boondocks is an anime
This character annoys me so I'm learning it.
What the hell is that Thumbnail 💀
Goat and Gyat is my favorite hero
They did NOT have to make her that caked up
My man I love the tutorial but you speak so softly and you put the music so loud I cant understand anything lol
I’ll keep improving as I create more videos. Thank you for the feedback! I recommend turning on captions, it should make everything easier to understand.
damn I was so bummed thinking cloak cant fly... didn't know he could reposition
Phenomenal guide. Thanks so much for this, dude 👍🏾
