played in skirmish tournament for legion yesterday, got 1st, need start trying some armada
I really like when you do these bigger ships, they are the ones I feel like I know less what to do with as there are so many possibilities
Love your videos, I’ve loved getting into Armada and building different fleets. I do wanna ask, do you think there’s a chance the Rebels will ever see the Viscount Star Defender added to the game?
I did not realize they are not pickles
I finally got a chance to try out Armada and this ship was in the fleet |that I got to try out, didn't do too well with it though as it got seriously wrecked by two Imperial Star Destroyers. I was to be fair trying to get the ship in between the two of them to do that Ackbar fire out both sides like an old war galley but it was not to be.
it sounds and looks great to do it.. but your just speed 2.. so while you dish out a lot of damage .. you cant take the firepower of 2 ISD double arching you at close range for 1,5 turns..
even the tankiest ship in the game will not survive that.. (especially as you take some damage going in.. and out..)
still.. it is a fantastic ship.. you just need to deploy her at good spot and be a bit gentle
Now I don't play competitively. I have no clue about meta or any of that, I just have some ship and play with some buddies. But one of my favorite things to do with an MC80 Home One type cruiser is to run it as an Assault Cruiser with Ackbar, Enhanced Armaments, and Defiance Title. Combine that with a Concentrate Fire dial and you have about 9 dice at long range, and can be a massive nuisance.
I have a suggestion: first, try to weaken the isds with a pair of mc30s and then fly the pickle with engine techs and cause destruction
MC80 is probably my favorite rebel ship. Ackbar with enhanced armament and defiance is so much fun.

Awsome new content keep it up.the MC80 should get more varied titles I think since its in the MC nature to have not one capital ship identical. Maybe some cheap titles that allow single upgrade type exchange ... Love the way you enthousiastically break down this game and its components.

it's hard enough for me to find someone local to play x-wing, I don't think anyone plays armada.. which sucks because it does look like a good game

I love your ship breakdowns. These videos really help me understand ships more. Heres an idea for a video “how to kill an MC80” for those of us who struggle to kill the blasted things.
Just shoot it a lot that’s what I do
park a ship at its nose, preferably by putting yourself in a double arc while preventing it from moving. demolishers work best, but a mc30, raider or hardcell are also good choices.

Amazing how this was one of the first ships released yet is still a staple in the rebel fleet. Love the MC80H!
Favorite load out is an assault version with reinforced blast doors, reactive gunnery, linked turbo laser towers, kyrsta agate Admiral version, and maybe PDICs amd just plop into the middle of the battlefield and cause carnage.
they should make the pickle jar ship which is just a bunch of mc-80's such together with a cylindrical shield ray and a giant engine as the lid.
I had my first tournament yesterday and ended very well! Most of my knowledge comes from your videos. I could be much better if dice are on my side :( Thanks for your break downs and superb contribution to the community.

I really like MC80H, such an amazing but expensive ship.
The home one was one of my favorite ships to run for its sheer tankiness, usually with a pellets running shield projector experts

Armada really got me to appreciate Rebel ships, never really even knew which ones there were until playing this game. I love their designs now and MC80 H is prob my fav of them, I play seppies but I admire from a distance.
Time to abandon ship and join the rebellion
