- Granblue Fantasy: Versus is coming to North America on PlayStation 4 in 2020!
An international mobile game hit, Granblue Fantasy has topped the charts, charming players across the globe with a plethora of lovable characters and story-driven mechanics. Now, legendary fighting game studio Arc System Works and Cygames are teaming up to bring the universe to home console in an action-packed head-to-head fighter. I always find it weird how people who don't like anime games find themselves in the comment section of them and question do people really play these games...
I found one!! Weird thing is that it bugs me.
I can kinda see where it’s coming from. I agree but for a reason that isn’t plain stupid. There are plenty of people in the “anime” community approaching their mid to late 20s. These people say waifu with anything with a skirt on (understandable if they’re hormone raging teens, but many aren’t.) These girls are let’s just say 18. It’s not a crime or even real (which already is kinda weird), but it can be measured as a hypothetical. As a hypothetical, It’s kinda creepy for guys in their mid to late 20s to go after a girl fresh out of high school so how is this any different. And to do it with a large number on the side?! It’s very creepy.
No hate, the game looks fun, and is heavily stylized with very appealing colors and designs that pop, but there are a number of people that don’t pass that creep test.
The Milhouse Experience It’s weird cause you’re taking it more seriously than most people in the anime community. Is it weird when an adult author writes young adult/teen fiction and has romance in it? If creating and thinking about characters like that isn’t weird, then why is liking anime and video game characters weird?
Graestra Well, how many times can you hear a “joke” before it gets old. It’s been going on too long to be considered a joke anymore. As for authors writing teen romance, it is strange but it also depends on how explicit they get. I assume most base it off their own fantasies/ memories, probably more the former, but I still think this is something everybody should at least consider thinking over.
On a side note, I like a lot of designs in this game, and even their art from the phone game is fantastic, but that’s as far as I go.
But like I said, I measure it as a hypothetical, it’s not as serious, but the implication it brings forward does nothing but create a stigma.
The Milhouse Experience no I didn’t mean it was a joke, I meant that you are overthinking and taking it too seriously. People are just enjoying anime, games, and the art, most of the time it’s not any deeper than that. Waifu as a term is used in the community because it’s a lot easier than saying “This character has a lot of endearing traits and I really like their design”

@@TheWarhammerfan1 There's official art of her shorts with that length. If people really cry about censorship because of a different angle in some of her art it's really pathetic. And even then at worst it's a few millimeters/1cm longer. I can't believe I'm arguing with someone over such a non-issue.
