I just bought it last month, this keyboard is really good and great for everyday use.
The red ESC and ENTER key reminds me of an old typewriter

i received mine a few days ago, and i highly agree.
i got the black/grey/brown version though, but it still reminds me of the typewriter my relatives have.
what switches did you get with it? i got the browns and i love them so much.
massive step up from my old redragon k552 kumara (single-mode backlight, no hotswap) which had blue switches
Stabs not bad as usual for RK keyboards. Pretty good! So its rkg87 without the triple mode connection, sweet!
Yeah, but the price is very cheap
So much as change since they discontinued the G87. I owned that keyboard being my very first keyboard and I went mad and decided to desoldered all switches, solder millmax hotswap sockets, lube and filmed the stock red switches, filled the insides with polyfill, swapped the stock keycaps with AKKO translucent keycaps body and top plate spray painted white. It was 2021.

My first was the RK 989 then the RK100, great to see RK change so much tbh. Better keyboards at better prices

I love the mint but if you like RGB the Kang White has a transparent top housing for better lighting
can you recommend a custom cable where it fits for the rk r87?
Most will, you just need to tell the seller u want one with a longer type C part

Can i use akko radiant reds for this keyboard?
I would recommend the RK61 and RK68 because the case is easier to mod. And yea akko switches will fit no problems

Hmm hard to say but I have a few favourites. Akko CS Cream , Equals Tangerine, and KTT Mint, JWK Nylon Black.

I bought it online, The plastic pry tool kit or phone repair kit should have it

I recommend using a plastic ruler but something might break, the best is still with a plastic pry tool

Hey bro, always be grateful. For some this is what they can afford and it's pretty good if it's in your budget range. yea it does sound pretty bad but no reason to throw away something that works
