no mate,they arent normal tyres that have been painted. they are made by kumho and are available in 3 different colours. they look like normal tyres but they have added chemicals to the compound,so when they heat up (=burnout) the chemicals react and produce coloured smoke,as stated in my previous reply, type in kumho coloured smoke burnout on you tube,you will get heaps of vids to watch
