I wouldn’t bullshit you, at first I was like naaaaa...as someone who literally admires all your tattoos, but now it’s healed and isn’t as dark as it first was, it really flows so well your sleeve....man! What a beautiful tattoo!

Also really happy you explained what was on your hand because at first I didnt understand what it was and now that its healed I can see what it is and its beautiful. Its such a good piece to fit with all your other roman themed tattoos. Overall you have easily the nicest tattoos ive ever seen and you plan everything out so well.

Currently considering getting a black and white rose made out of 100 dollar bills, it symbolizes my road to recovery and reminds me of how much money I lost instead of stopping to smell the roses. I’d have to drive an hour to get the piece done from a super reputable artist. My guy finished my sleeve in December and I love my sleeve. However I’m a bit nervous about getting a hand tattoo from him due to it never being able to be covered. There’s a few minor errors in a couple parts of my sleeve. What’s your opinion on switching artists for a hand tattoo? My other guy has done basically my whole sleeve other than a Cerberus on my forearm.
I feel your pain. I had the black work done on my chest Clipper Ship and the week I was going to go back to get it finished the state was put on Lockdown. It took 4 months before they allowed tattoo shops to reopen and I could schedule to get the color done. Yes it's a bummer when you have to reschedule an appointment you've been looking forward to.
Looks great brother! Mine took almost two months also. It has to heal at the bottom layer also which for the hand takes more time. The real pain is when you feel the throbbing underneath the skin for hand tattoos.
your hand tattoo looks awesome. i love the look and placement. a hand tattoo would give me anxiety trying to be careful about it and always worry about it fading/wearing.
I always wanted a full sleeve on both arms and yet have to get my first tattoo (hopefully it will happen this year) but now I feel when I get the full sleeves done that at some point I will go and do my hand(s) cause it just looks so good and think that it would fit well. Love your content and can't wait to see the back of a thigh tattoo and I'm very excited to see your backpiece in future
Make sure you don’t place your first tats in a spot on the arm that will inconvenience the sleeve I made that mistake on both arms now my sleeves don’t have as much volume as I would of liked

The plan is to start from my shoulder and then go to my inner bicep and then make my way up to the lower arm/wrist. Of course the end goal is that the end result is fully cohesive sleeve on which I can also add hand tattoo on if I want to
Idk if its just my skin type but I only put aquaphor on for 2 days and then I just lotion day 3 and every day after during the healing process. All my tattoos have healed incredible and I never did any elaborate care during the healing process. Even after I get tattooed I never bandaged them or anything. I just went home, showered and then applied aquaphor. My artist did say the best skin to tattoo is asian skin because it holds ink so well after only 1 pass and we just have good tattoo skin according to him lol. Tbh I use to cover my tattoo and all that when I first got tattooed but after getting many more I got lazy and just did this type of care and its healed exactly the same. I have both arms done and my whole entire chest.
My personal preference when it comes to hand tattoos are tattoos ending at the knuckles and then maybe 4 letter words(one letter on each finger) or a piece like Jordan Feno’s which incorporates the fingers as a negative space. Do you plan on getting anything on the rest of your fingers?

i kept the Saniderm on for the whole 7 days because it was the hand area, i had it on for awhile like it seemed to you bevause i used it twice, once for the inital tattoo and then again for the touch up!

Yes I was supposed to get tattooed literally 2 weeks after an appointment I had and it got canceled because my artist switched shops. I was so upset 🥲 still am

So I got a rosary done on my hand and the beads go up to my wrist and at times I’ve regretted it and times I don’t so it’s a love hate relationship but it looks nice it’s done well
I like that YOU like the hand tattoo that much. The design is cool! I personally dont care much for where it ends on your fingers. It looks kind of incomplete where it ends. I think it wouldve looked better stopping short of the fingers of maybe not ending with an abrupt edge like a glove. But it certainly doesnt look "bad" and thats just MY personal taste on it.

I know the feeling of re-scheduling. I really like this one tattoo artist from abroad and we are working on larger entirety. So at 10/2019 we booked a time to 03/2020 what was the next time she was coming here. Then, you know, things happened. We were hopeful that okay, maybe we just it forward by few months. Yea. That didn't work out. At the end of the summer of 2020 things are looking worse and worse, travel restrictions are changing by the day so the time is cancelled for the time being. Fast forward a year, September of 2021, we schedule a new time for 11/2021. Over two years in between. Luckily that time things worked out OK, since it was right before omicron. Now we had another appointment without the hassle of rescheduling, and hopefully things starts to ease out, so there wouldn't be another 2 year gap.
I am getting both hand done on the 8 march , i am gonna die xD and the day before ( if i dont get an appointement before) i will complete my inner arms tatoo , probably gonna die those two days TwT any tips on how to take care of an hand tatoo ? i mean its kinda obvious like be carefull with your hand but i dont know how you can protect them ^^"
that sounds like acouple hectic days for you 😅 and honestly id have to say Saniderm was such a big part in healing this area! kept it protected against so much
You don’t even need the saniderm. This is just something extra and i’m guessing he has some deal with them where he gets some type of commission or something. Saniderm can get in the way and doesn’t allow the “wound” to breathe like it needs. (Hence the long healing time for his hand more than likely) only tip that is different with the hand tattoo than any other is really just be careful when you go in your pockets!
@@GrippyMac ok thanks what i usually do for the first night is protect the tattoo with sanitary plastic to wrap food and then i let it breath all day, if i feel like it need protection i wrap around the tattoo but 3rd day no more wrapping for sure ^^ ( i have 2 full sleeve, one finished and one already done ^^)

you should moisturize after every wash. Depending on the body part you may have to moisturize it more often. I usually apply a tattoo balm 3 times a day. In the morning, afternoon, and evening. But usually only have time to wash it twice a day (before and after work). Make sure your hands are clean before applying lotion or balm to prevent an infection. ALSO do not apply a lot of lotion/balm, just enough to cover the area with a thin layer. It'll naturally dry out & flake & itch, do not scratch the area.

I was the type to not want tattoos that I can't cover. But lately, I've been considering getting my hands done. I still don't know yet, but I'm considering it. If I do, my mother is going to flip when she sees it. Not in a good way, lol.
I say get it if you really want it, remember it's always easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. Your mama love you either way, she might be a little mad but she'll get over it 😂
Yeah it’s a look that many won’t like and even took some adjusting for me at first but you get over it quickly and you begin to really like it. I might even continue the design even further down
