We've definitely learned a lot along the way, your video kept us in stitches 🤣🤣🤣 We also determined that using a vacuum as soon as we pull the pieces out of the packaging will help the styrofoam not be around for years and years 🤣

I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your 3 videos. There are totally amazing and so helpful. I build my 2 drawers today and yesterday thanks to your help.
The first one took me almost 5 hours and the second one only 2h30 hours because I was prepared and did it in a different way.
In the manual they said to do not use a drill ....I did it it's faster and helpful.
I did not use the glue and what a great idea because for my first drawer I messed up. The drawers could go to the very far.
Now I have to build the top drawer so I will watch your video. Wish me good luck.

I couldn’t even put the drawers in it was so easy the beginning and now in the very end I struggle wait too much how put in the Dressers I struggle way too much
If you push them in gently but firmly they will slide in.

Oh no! hope you figured it out. When it happened to me I firmly pushed it in little by little and that seemed to help.

What do you mean by the second top piece towards the end? The drawers aren't going fully in and the instructions are off.

@@marianamerandi1997 my dad helped me, but essentially we had to push the drawers in real hard and then it stays in place. It seems like we were going to break the drawers by pushing them in. But it worked out. But the vanity table is not the greatest quality. It ended up falling apart when I moved

HELPFUL HINTS WITH DRAWERS!!:
Ok so I found out that the directions say to put the metal slides on the drawers in a way to where the black tabs are facing opposite directions. So if you need to pull the drawer out, I have to press the black tab on the left up, and the black tab on the right down....instead of pressing them both in the same direction. (Whichever way your black tab is touching on it tip, is the direction that you need to press the tab)
Also, I checked the metal rails and noticed one of them was bent on the very end and the little rolling balls fell out. I used my hammer and a metal turn key to bend the metal back into place with the little rolling balls inside. Now it rolls and the drawers slide in.
I followed those directions perfectly! This is crazy and I bet so many people were frustrated and didn’t know how to pull the drawers out.

Thanks for the video it is helpful! However, step 13 I do not see that you used the white plastic tacks. On the instructions manual it displays to use a hammer.
Good catch! Since the vanity will be on carpet I chose to skip that step. It's pretty stable on the floor.

I bought the 9 drawer unit. It went on sale a day or two after I bought it for around $60 less. I emailed Impressions asking if they would refund me the difference, and they said no that they will not “price match.” My unit also came damaged. Which impressions told me I had to make a claim with the Route shipping protection I bought. Which I found super annoying and what if I didn’t purchase that protection. Company ended up asking me to circle on the parts diagram all the new parts I needed. I ended up just putting the unit together and keeping the damaged pieces. I’m glad I didn’t also purchase their table top vanity’s, as I wouldn’t want to spend money again with this company. I’m purchasing all new furnature for my bedroom and the dresser I have now has the same type of draws with how the bottom of the draw is super thin MDF material that fits into groves on the draw walls. The bottom falls out of the groves often enough that I’m buying myself a new dresser, so I’m a bit disappointed that I bought another piece of furnature that’s poorly designed like that. I’m going to see if I can buy something like caulk that I can use on the underneath side of the draws to keep the bottom of the draw from falling out of those groves. I will be putting small legs on the bottom of the 9 drawer unit and changing the knobs. Hopefully that will then make this unit more expensive and tasteful looking. I’m very doubtful that this furnature will last more then 1 year without getting super annoyed that you consistently have to fix something falling apart on it.
I’m very thankful for your video’s, as the directions aren’t very clear, I resorted to your videos for a couple parts. You should definitely be paid by Impressions for making these videos that helped so many of us out.

I also had trouble with the drawers going in. It may feel stuck but just push it in with force. When you did it, it just slid in like nuthin thats why I was confused lol
Yeah I thought mines was broken when they wouldn't go in! I love you pic lol.
Your comment literally just saved our drawers which we couldn't get in! I flipped the drawer facing the ceiling and let gravity assist with pushing. It was still challenging, but we got it with some finangling!
Literally we were having the same problem. I read your comment to my dad and he said I don't want to break it and he added a lot of pressure and the thing did eventually slide in. Now we're working on the other drawers 🤞

Hi, thanks for the video! Are the little black plastic tabs that you were making certain were closer to the slotted side of the panel supposed to stay in place or are they supposed to be removed?
Yup! Everything was placed and screwed in correctly in the video and I show you how to fix the part I messed up on. Once you take out the drawer slides from the package and separate them, don't place them back together.
Did you use the glue? Sorry I didn't get to watch the whole video to see.
Nope! It was too watery. If you do want to use a glue you're better off using a better brand glue. Thanks for watching doll!
Hi I’m currently putting mine together but for some reason the drawers won’t go in all the way.. I’m not sure if I installed the slides backwards.. this is so frustrating 😔

Hmm a lot of people are having this issue in the comments. I pushed mines in gently and firmly and they went in. Can you try sliding in a different drawer that's the same size?
I have the pink one im building it right now but when it’s time to put the drawers it didn’t slide all the way
Look at the 1st and second page of the instructions. I think it tells you that you need to realign the drawers and that way they close properly.

@9:13 what do you mean “make sure you’ve taken off that 2nd top piece” mean when you referred to the drawer?
I didn't realize until the end the drawer slides were supposed to detach when I screwed them down. So if you built it like me make sure to detach the top drawer slide.

Yes I saw that in the beginning that they had them separated and didn’t say to separate. We live and learn. I love building my own furniture even through frustration because of the payoff and I also know how it works. 😁
Did you tighten your drawers on the back with the white plastic things ? There should be 6 for each set of drawers top middle and bottom so it won’t shake

Of course Doll! 4.5 hrs for one drawer. )But I was also filming and moving around the camera to get different angles.) So it could be shorter for you! This is definitely a weekend project.

So I’m confused I screwed in all of the sliders to all of the wood pieces should I just take off the top part and mail them to the big white board where all the drawers slide into
Take off the top part and set it aside. You will use those when you build your 2nd drawer.

Yup! I chose not to do it since I have carpet.

Hello! My draw won’t slide in!
Oh no! Try giving it a gentle but really firm push until it goes in. Try using another drawer if it doesn't work. You might have to unscrew the sliders and re-align if that doesn't work.
I’m building the 9 drawer one the same I’m waiting for my pair of 5 drawers come ups lost my package. I’m having trouble ima drawers don’t want to go all the way in any advice.
Good question! You have to gently but firmly push in the drawers. If you watch my table top assembly video I had the same issue.
Hi thanks for getting back I had the brackets to much forward to the front it has to be lined up as back as u can so the drawers will go in all the way. It was adventure I had going to sleep at 5 am lol

So I just built mine and the drawers are literally stuck. I have no idea what I did wrong. I tried stick the drawer in and it stopped and I tried pulling it back out and it’s literally stuck. I took one of the tracks out to make sure I had done it right and it went on how it’s supposed to. I don’t understand what I did. Someone help me
You didn’t mention part of step 13. There’s these plastic things (part 005C) you’re supposed to tap in to board 04. But there’s no hole to tap them in? The board is so hard there that I broke the plastic thing (005C) trying to hammer it in!
Thanks for catching that! Yes, I chose not to do step 13 because I have carpet and it was backed up to the wall. I wasn't worried it was going to move. I can't remember if mines had the holes or not.. Ugh sorry to hear your board broke.
Ugh everyone struggles with the drawers :( I don’t have trouble putting them in or taking them out but they don’t close all the way at first I thought that’s how it was but everyone else’s seem to close fine plus not being able to close or open all the way steals room someone pls help 😭

This happened to me and for whatever reason when I tried inserting it again with another drawer it went in perfectly. Are you sure you screwed down everything correctly?

So the piece that comes off the sliders will just be an extra right? We wont keep any of them?
You will! Put it to the side. You'll need it to build your second drawer.
I built my drawer tonight. I’m not a novice on putting things together but the drawer slides don’t pull as smooth. Do you have that issue?
No they should be extremely smooth after the first 2-3 times you open it.
@@LisannaDoesThings that’s not my experience 😩. Can the drawers come out all the way once you slide them all in? I’m asking only because if I can pull them all out again, maybe I can see if something is not right with the sliders.

What did you mean by make sure to take off the second top piece for your drawer slides? Because I am having major trouble putting my drawers.
When you first grab the drawer slides out of the box they come stuck together. After you detach the drawer slides to screw the drawer slide onto the board leave it as is. You're going to want to push in the drawers with gentle pressure. If that doesn't work you might have to disassemble the whole thing because the drawer slides might not be screwed in the right place correctly. Hope that helps.

I was seriously having a meltdown moment, stepped away to go eat dinner, and by the time I came back my boyfriend had gotten all but one drawer in, which he go fairly quickly then. I don’t think I have ever loved him more than in that moment haha. Thanks for this video series tho, definitely a huge lifesaver throughout the entire process ❤️

@@LisannaDoesThings I'm going to double check my screw placement I don't have study hands at the moment. In I had a melt down I got 3 drawers in perfectly after going through hell with them the rest are in uneven. Any feedback is appreciated
@@SophisticatedLadies7 Yea sometimes you have to take out a drawer again and swap it with a new one then it works. Thats what did the trick for me. Hope that works!

Hey Doll! I have this video where I unboxed the mirror and screwed it into the base that supports the mirror, but I don't know if that's what you're looking for. Do your drawers pull all the way out? When I open it there is still 7” of drawer inside! The vanity top drawers come all the way out.

Did you make your own holes on 2 and 1? Because only two of the holes match up on mine but the third does not line up at all🤦🏽♀️
Good question! No I did not. Are you sure boards 1 and 2 are facing the right way? Are the sliders facing the right way too? They don't line up exactly but as long as your screw down the sliders in the metal hole they should be fine.
Did anyone have a gap in between any drawers? I’m having trouble with my larger drawers having gaps in between the small and and the bottom drawer won’t go in flush with the rest. Pls Help!
Unfortunately you're going to have to disassemble it and rescrew in the drawer slides. The instructions on page two and three give you more info.

Oh no. :( Look at the first two pages of the instructions. It tells you how to fix that. You'll have to disassemble it and build it again.
Why do my drawers peek out?? Omg I need help right now!! 😭😭😭 they go in but the front sticks out and push them all the way in and it doesn’t go in
You may have screwed in the drawer slides too forward so when you close your drawers they stick out. Try removing the drawer and pushing it back in. But you might have to go back to page 1 or 2 of the instructions to rearrange.
I'm a guy never needed any from a woman 🤣 lol but you were exception to the rule thanks still working it but your video helped a lot especially bad instructions all my carpenter friends signing up also for there wife's

I am also having an issue with one of my drawers not closing all the way and now I can't get the drawer to come out. ; (
press down on the black tab on both sides and it will slide out. You might have to disable it and rescrew in the slides.
I’m having the same issue as well @lola griffin :( were you able to resolve this issue? If so, is there any advice on what you did because I’m having a really hard time.

@Laycie Duncan what part are you at? I had a problem with drawers going in smoothly
@Laycie Duncan ok so it might be couple of reasons.
1.The sliding metal rods might not be a line correctly
2. The frame which holds all the drawers might not be pulled in close enough, or the frame might be slightly leaning

Ahhh My bad lol! You know how the draw slides come stuck together in the box? When you remove the drawer slide don't slide the other part back on. Does that make sense?
I bought the Celeste vanity and I’m trying to go off your videos but I don’t know how to attach the sliders and you didn’t show how you did it 😭
I was super confused too!! They might be similar instructions. I think part 1 or 2 shows it. and part 3 shows how to correctly screw in all three screws. Sorry it's been so long since I've built it! hope you got this!!

Mines are a little wobbly even with the draws inside, is that normal?
Yea, mines are a bit wobbly too. When you place the table top on top of the drawers they are more stable. Just make sure everything is completely screwed in.

Oh no! Everyone has this issue. Are you sure you aligned everything correctly? If so, just apply gentle but firm pressure to push it in.
