Iv got the exact same rifle same colour and 1.77.with a nice hawk scope. Absolutely love it .trigger a bit heavy but had it a few years so used to it.i bet that tape feels good when breaking the barrel.
Yes I like the tape , it was an experiment that turned out to be a permanent feature. I agree it has a heavy trigger, and a very long throw compared to previous air rifles I've owned. But again I got used to it . I think they're a great budget rifle and I'm still very happy with it. 👍😉
The trick with your group being blown off is to shoot opposites so if your pellets are landing say at 11 o’clock on the target, you aim at 5 o’clock and this will bring you on to what you were wanting to hit. Nice little garden setup you’ve got there.👍
There's a coincidence, I've been working on a few Webleys over a couple of weeks. My old Webley FX2000 .22 been in the loft 13 years went away with 50 bar showing all these years later still holding pressure, it must be 20 years old now, I fitted at a lot of trick brass bits they all needed cleaning up. Removed the stock and gave it a re-oiling it look like new, it's fitted with a Logun moderator, 8 shot mag very accurate rifle. Next was my Webley Tempest pistol in .22 not used it in years still looks like new, stripped oiled / greased they are a great pistol. Next was my late father in laws Webley Senior pistol Cir 1960, I priced up parts to do a referb on it years ago but he didn't want to spend money on it, so years later I did it for him it's in good condition overall, the spring was misshapen, breach seal worn, had some wrong fastners here and there, I managed to source all the parts, even had a bit of plinking with it this morning. Last but not least I recently purched a new webley alecto mk5, a very accurate pistol but know where near a much fun as the springer pistols to shoot. I noticed the long trigger pull on that rifle it was never ending, did I see two adjustment holes in the trigger guard, does either give some adjustment.
Hey Chris sounds like you had a loadof fun with the Webleys. The trigger guard has two holes but the don't access any adjusters they access 2 mounting screws. I might use do them and see if there's any adjustment from behind the mounting. Normally you'd expect the adjustment accessible. I've got used to it, or should've say I put up with it. My old falcon raptor pcp 8 shot was much more refined. But I didn't use it for years so I sold it. I got this one to slim the hoards of Magpies. Seems to be working so far .
