More ATM! I love packs like this because I know some of the mods really well and then there's always some mod I never even heard of before that turns out to be a new favourite.
Yeah that's how it is with me as well....I know a lot of the mods but I haven't played with some of them in so long I forget how half of them work. xD
Then the new ones are like "How did I not know about you?!" 😂
Best way to wake up in the morning, you've got so much energy. Atm9 isn't in my head a cute modpack, but your descriptions show me where the cuteness hides.
I had almost NO energy when recording this so the fact it seemed like I did makes me so happy. lol
Yeah sometimes I use "cute" as a descriptor for things even when I mean something else but I mean c'mon...there's TONS of adorable stuff in that pack. Especially that quest book set up...I love the little pics in it.
There's an Enchantment Extractor in industrial foregoing you can use to remove enchantments.
Ohh that's right! I completely forgot it had one as well...thank you :D
Also evil craft can extract enchantments with the purifier and blooks.
Some tips from someone else playing ATM 9:
The Apotheosis tower you were in last does have a chest, it's under the bookshelves/logs and not trapped like others.
Cook bread in a furnace for toast - better early game food.
The ore doubling hammer can be put into a Create basin with a mixer and auto mix to double ores and won't break the hammer.
The gloves you get from chests that increase attack damage are in a separate Curio style slot, it's the cloud image in the bottom left of your character/inventory screen.
Ender IO enchanter exists in this pack, great for making simple enchanted books.
I recommend hopper botany pots for easy farms/trees that always produce.
I'll watch further episodes to hopefully provide more tips accurate to what you're currently doing, keep up the great vids!

When you pressing "E" to the right of you character you have a speaker. Mute villager there as I did ;)
That's a good point....I completely forgot that existed. lol
You really ought to get into Silent Gear. Although youll lose any enchants if you directly convert a tool or weapon, you can carry a repair box with you, and never have to worry about destroying tools. And if you use certain materials for picks youll inherit traits, for example if you use Bronze for a pick youll automatically have Silky which is silk touch. Also a lot of people dont know that you dont have to put the same type of material in the tool box to repair, it just has to be the same tier. So if you have a Diamond Silent Gear pick, you can put obsidian in your repair tool box, and itll repair a diamond pick, since they are the same tier. This saves on materials cost, and makes repairs SUPER cheap.
I explained in one of the videos why I don't use Silent Gear (the fps drops) and it's an issue that seems to have not been fixed since ATM8 unless I'm missing something. I've been a fan of silent gear for a long time so I'm hoping there's just something I'm missing that's causing it but I agree it's a VERY useful mod. :D
Hey! I'm 5 minutes in so maybe you found this already but I think Forbidden & Arcanus comes with a Quantum Catcher which is absolutely awesome for catching mobs.
There seem to be quite a few ways to catch things but I'm shocked I forgot about the quantum catcher since I've used it a ton in the past. lol

For future references, here is a couple of things:
-If you want to sleep, you can at 10:27pm and after
-Technical and other stuff is pretty overwhelming so, try and enjoy the process
-Sophisticated backpacks upgrades are not compatible with sophisticated storages.
-Starbunkles and many other mobs can be dyed with colors
-Have Fun

I’m not sure how useful this will be, since there are already more episodes out. But the Stargates are inter-planetary portals. They’re actually from an older sci-fi show! I used to love it as a kid. I’m not entirely sure if they work the same way in game as they did in the show tho
I'm not sure because I've never seen it but I've been hearing a lot of good things about the mod so I'll need to look into how it functions. :D

I advice you to always check armor in loot chests.
Because of Apotheosis, you can find leather armor, which protects as good as diamond armor.
Can be a life saver in the early to mid game
You definitely right but it's not about the armor rating but about scrapping.
Just the epic scraps are worth more than anything else because you are better off using apotheosis to upgrade high tier gear ( allthemodium/refined obsidian/supermium) then you are using what spawns naturally.
The spawner you broke while looking for a creeper was a creeper spawner.
that sounds like an almost as clumsy move as my usual moves like these that happen to me all the time
Don't apologize for things like showing us the number of rolls for village trades. Many of us are trying to play along with you (same seed, etc) and it helps us learn about mods in the pack that we haven't used before. I even like to watch someone else mining! I find it rather relaxing. Great vids. You gained another subscriber.

I started this mod a bit ago, not familiar with many of the mods. I ended up going into creative to try and figure things out because some stuff seemed circular in progression 🤪🤷♂️ I’m learning tons! Thanks for the great content 😸

For a portable trash can, open ur inventory and look at the top of ur screen on the left, there is a gray icon (its a trash can). The other trash cans can be used with automation stuff, like crushing gravel give sand but also flint, u can trash the flint or make blocks out of then to build with.
Staregate is a potal mod. The gates have there own adress (the numbers u see when u opend the gui). In the staregate series they travel to other planets with that. Look up Stargate SG1. Then there are other gates that have a larger adress be course they are further away, like the pegasus gate or the universe gate. U can put a computer (computercraft or cctweaks or open computers) on the gate and dail with that (its a manual dailing system), but u can also use the console u opend with the gui and numbers to dail to an other gate. Put in the adress (numbers) and push in the middle to start the dail.
WARNING: dont stand infront of it when it opening, it dangerous and can kill u or mobs. When its opend, its safe to pass trough.

The file enchantments.cfg will show you what level enchantments are in game. You should be able to combine books to get higher level enchants. ie. protection 4 is max from book, but can be combined with same to make protection 5, then 6, and eventually up to 8.

As an FYI for the villagers, if you put an emerald in the stone cutter you can make a emerald shard that you can right click on the villager to refresh their trade so u can keep trading with them! Also Im pretty sure you can disable certain noises/sounds in this modpack, by pressing the little speaker icon near your character when you open your inventory, then just searching for the noise you want.
That's why I love "Easy Villagers" because I can just use their handy dandy menu to reroll em. The Emerald thing is also a fun way to do though so I'll have to check it out.
@@Creothina Oh no sorry I think I didnt make it clear, the emerald thing refreshes their stock. So you can keep trading sticks without having to wait for them to restock themselves!

if you come across GregTech ores, they're super handy. the raw redstone will smelt down into 5 regular redstone per piece, coal smelts into 2 per, and you can even find veins of raw diamonds that smelt into regular ones
They've been super handy for sure! As much as I joke about GregTech it isn't ALL that bad. lol

You have a vampiric sword, hold the pick in your off hand and stab mobs to repair the pick!
You have 2 built in trash cans in your inv. Bottom right slot. ItemYou can hit del key while mousing over a is item to move quickly.
2nd. When inv open, top left screen is a bigger trash can to move many items. And can pull stuff out before closing in case you mis click something

@@CreothinaMy first run-in with Gregtech was probably about MC 1.7.10, I had just gotten enough iron for an anvil, NEI showed vanilla, but it didn't work. Doing some research told me about Greg. Much more mining later, I made my anvil. Greg, Grrr. lol

I got excited while watching your series and decided to start it myself and there are two things that i have noticed that you are missing out on, firstly at 1:46:30 This is another type of the wizard tower and it has a chest hidden under the bookshelves and there are no traps from my experience, Secondly. You have to kill the trader and the Llamas at least once for a quest completion in the Bounty Board
That's awesome! Enjoy the pack because there's SO much to do. Yeah I've been told about the chest I missed and of course I missed it....I gave up too easily because I was worried about explody time. xD (I may or may not have to dispatch of a wandering trader soon then I guess huh?) 😂
"To fix the torch stacking bug, you just have to throw them on the ground"
That is, bar none, the _weirdest_ workaround to a bug I think I've ever seen. Which is impressive, given the fact that I'm a programmer, and finding workarounds for bugs is 80% of my job.
My thinking for why the torches aren't stacking, is that the client is confusing the torches as either a new item, or as if they have NBT. Since inventory actions are all clientside, the only way to fix it is to make the _server_ stack them. The easiest way to do that is to throw them in-world, but a hopper could probably also (extremely slowly) do it as well.
😂 It worked out well while I used them then I decided to switch to stone torches and never had the issue again. Modded saves the day yet again with more options for the simple things in life.

That non-stacking issue with torches. I'm getting it with lots of other items too, both vanilla items and modded items from various packs. I haven't tried the torches yet, but dropping the other items that it's occurring with on the floor and picking them up again isn't working like the torches worked for you.🤔🤔
There's so much loot in this pack!! I'm a bit of a hoarder in Minecraft... everything just looks too shiny 🤣 Every time I go caving, I come across so many spawners, dungeons and boss rooms...like they're everywhere and the loot chests are chocka full of stuff, and that doesn't even get into the ores! ...It's almost impossible to collect everything without using bundles...and multiple backpacks. luckily, plenty of mobs drop them.
Love the hopper botany pots! Early game farming done easy!
That's weird...I've seen many people mention the torches but I've not seen anyone say it about other items. You seem to have quite the luck huh? lol
I completely feel you on the hoarder issue and I REALLY need to get some storage going but that's going to involve me needing to go to the Nether which will be in the next episode because those chests have got to go. xD
The reason i like high fps is because over time the fps goes down and even if I have over 500 by the end I get on 130.
Yeah that's what I noticed with mine as well so that makes sense. :D
Apotheosis adds disenchantment by putting the item and books (normal books) then have an anvil fall on them. If the chest plate has 5 enchantments then you need 5 books.
You can also put bread in the furnace and it makes toast which is better
As you get further into the series you'll see I end up eating the bread then avocado toast so that's a good tip TY. :D
(I also do the enchant removal as well)

im big late but yes, there is a way to remove gems :D! however it destroys either the gem or the item in the process.
"vial of" under apotheosis should show it.
If you make a osmium paxel you have 14 attack damage that will help you out.

Skeletons are taller then players so they couldn't fit with the trapdoor on the ceiling. Players can walk in a 2 high area with a trapdoor on the ceiling or floor but skeletons can't!
With New 1.20 light rules, light level 1 stops mobs spawning. So a torch can disable spawners way easier and further away
You can add a credit table to your backpack
pro tip if u put light down it will stop spawning them

The wondering trader will sell a Advance turtle for 2 emeralds, so get one if you like them other wise you need an Allthemodium ingot to build one .

Some of the potions u got had weakness, it might also work for the converter block, buut, as i remember, it also works without potion, but im not sure if it does work right after u put the first potion or it can be used without the potion since the beggining
U can mend your pickaxe in an anvil with more diamonds
Not sure if u can in this pack...but you can just right click the crafting table on a stick in your inventory so u don't habe to open in your hand
You should do a rp series as I feel you'd be good at it
you should use jumbo furnace its realy good if you have more than 1 in it
Be carefull with the player head mod, having a few is okay but if you start to put dozen in a room its gonna affect your fps quite alot.

New viewer here, just wanna say I love that I stumbled across your channel. a LOT of modern minecraft youtubers are way too high energy and silly for me. Nothing wrong with that, their demographic are the kiddo's after all, but I just want a long lasting, cozy series and you hit that on the head while still being funny and entertaining.

You were correct the first time. It is horrible on the bit rate. Compression is TH-cam compacting file size at the sacrifice of quality, and the rain wouldn't have anything to do with this. You're good :)
you can remove the gems at the cost of the item or vise-versa just look for the "vial" items in the Apotheosis mod (there are 3 of them)
p.s. just fyi, that is NOT going to be enough storage for this modpack :D

ars and allthemodium, armors and tools are indestructible,
productive bee will passive give you blocks early on.
mining dimension with a quarry will passively give you ores.
you can make higher tier furnace to smelt faster (iron furnace mod)
you can make higher tier generators (gal generator mod)
the silent gems saw cuts whole trees down or chainsaw enchantment.
ars ritual can give you area creative flight
mystical arg can make a awakened breastplace can give you creative flight
you will want speed boost and a +1 step boost gems added to boots to speed around.
potion masters mod can make charms to find specific ores
botany pots for passive farming.
feral flare lantern will light your whole town up , 2 gold 2 glass 1 glowstone.
dank storage will store mega stacks of stuff like a bankpack
I know about alot of these (waiting for more resources for the furnaces etc) but I will absolutely be looking into the other stuff you mentioned thank you! :D

oh yeah i wanted to tell you that EERIE ASS FUCKING NOISE you heard when talking about unbreaking SCARED THE EVER LIVING CRAP OUT OF ME THEN I GOT JUMP SCARED BY THE MOST EERIE LOOKING GHOST THAT YOU CANNOT KILL. YOU CANT HIT IT WITH A WEAPON.🤣💀 i have never seen anything as scary as this ghost is. my heart literally sank when i seen it. i have no idea what mod it is but i’ve never seen anything like this from any other modpack. it wasn’t in atm8 but the eerie noise happens a lot in the night time then the ghost jump scares you. idk what happens after that but i didn’t stick around to find out. 😭🤣
😂 It's from Corail...there's other people in our discord that have asked about it and I'm pretty sure Zeph mentioned it's from that mod.
It is a Halloween Event from Corail Tombstone Mod. It doesn't do anything but scare you. You can turn it off in settings.

Just found your channel and I think you need to do face cam. It would have been so fun to see your facial expressions on the last ATM9 video. I feel like your expressiveness on camera would really take your vids to the next level. I do like your channel and think you have much more potential.
Maybe sometime down the road I'll use a face cam but for now I'm more comfortable doing it this way.

I don't know how busy you are or how much my comments interrupt your daily flow but I'm just gonna bother you cause when I did TH-cam I wished I had people to talk to. Decided I would make constructive criticisms. Firstly, I noticed you try really hard to make things perfect and from my experience I know it can be quite exhausting. Especially if you're like me and you want the utmost quality (not that I ever had it but I can grasp the concept). My only real suggestion for you is to make sure you love and accept what you make, even with flaws. That's not to mean I want you to stop caring altogether but I stopped making videos because I couldn't make them the quality I wanted. I think you're doing great otherwise. Listening to your fans is always a great way to go if they want to see more of the processes like organizing chests. Maybe even time lapses if you think you can do those. (I'm only to episode 2 so who knows, you might pull things out that impress me and even further endear yourself to me.) Reglardless, I think you're doing amazing, don't sweat the small stuff, and feel free but not required to be creative with editing.

I have an amazing community of people to talk to and I don't worry about making things perfect at all because the derpy stumbling around/frequent imperfections are all part of how my content is. :) I enjoy what I do and go with the flow and the way the videos are now is how they're always going to be. They're always going to be laid back chill videos people can play along with or just chill and watch and I know they won't be for everyone (which is fine because there's many different types of creators out there to suit different interests) but those that do enjoy them will have plenty to watch. I always listen to suggestions and tips/feedback and while I won't always do everything suggested I still appreciate that people take the time out of their day to comment. It's taken me a long time (I've been a content creator since 2016 even though I've only been posting to TH-cam for just over a year) of trial and error to figure out how I want my content to be and I'm happy with where I'm finally at and looking forward to continuing to make these videos for a long time because I've found what makes me happy and what style I enjoy doing.
As for time lapses there are plenty of TH-camrs who do those that are incredibly talented so if people would like to see that style they can go watch one of my fellow creators and their amazing videos. Mine are going to continue to be these slightly (and sometimes a bit more than slightly) edited creations that I'm proud of and incredibly grateful to be able to make in the first place. :D I also have an editor who works on my videos who already gives up a ton of his free time to help me so I'm not going to add hours and hours of more work for him to do so I'm exactly where I want to be but as I mentioned before I appreciate the suggestions and TY for the compliments.
This modpack crashes non stop, I managed to make it work on an old version but now that is updated it won't even open. All settings and configuration on my pc are correct, I've played very heavy modpacks before but it's either the pack or 1.20 being unstable. which I've seen online it's very common, so I will give up on it until the discrepancies are fixed. I allso noticed you don't have the shaders that come with the pack either which is weird. I'm lloving the series tho!
I mention in the video that I switched to my "normal" complimentary shaders because of visual glitches with the ones in the pack. I'm sorry you're having issues with it...hopefully you can get it figured out and make sure you have enough RAM allocated.
@@Creothina oh I must have missed the shaders comment, sorry. I have 8GB allocated from 16, maybe not the best set up but it worked until the last update. I still got the "Mod loading error" displayed when launching today at least 5 times. Hopefully the modders can look into this. Congratulations again Creo!! 🥳🥳
@@GeekyMina8GB in a system with at least 12 is the recommended - I also had major lag issues and gave up as well - it's likely the modpack or both pack & 1.20, because I have other 1.20 packs and they aren't having these issues at all (still got lag spikes but that's when I explore way too much in one sitting, restarting fixes that)
Hopefully we get some optimization soon on this one, but it is a WIP so these issues are expected until it's more fleshed out.

Nonsense. Life mending is ridiculously good in any pack with ars nouveau. Use heal any time you need your stuff mended.
I was wondering how you get ulitmine to work cause I have it in a mod pack I’m playing and it’s not working
For Ultimine you need to set a key in the controö settings. If you play it in a different Modpack, it can be that you dont have access to it at the beginning.
Mine is automatically on the ~ (Tilde) key above Tab so try that out first. :D
Some mod packs have it locked behind something.
Ocean block has it set to be one of the trinkets. ( Ftb not curio) check the quest book if changing the key but I didn't work.

You may have already done this, but make sure you allocate enough memory for the game to run the pack; at least 8GB but not more than 12GB, depending on your total system RAM. Usually you don't want to allocate more than half your total RAM, but this pack might be an exception. You can do this in Curseforge (if you choose to use it) by editing the profile, or, in the game launcher before you start a new game. The default is 2Gb, I think. My system froze on first run coz I forgot to do change the 2Gb default. I'm running it with 10Gb allocated on a 32GB total RAM system. Runs fine.
@@Briahnalouise What Roger said and just be sure not to set too much RAM because your PC needs some to run other things. I also have 32 GB so I allocate 10 and since larger packs like this require at LEAST 8 GB (imo) make sure your system has enough to handle setting that much.
@@Briahnalouise In my case i have a 20 GB system (kinda weird i know) and i am running it at 10 GBs too and its running smoothly. I think allocating half of your RAM is the sweet spot while keeping in mind that the game requires at least 8 GBs.

I don't remember the version (it was the most recent at the time) and I haven't added additional mods so the one you're referring to is "Easy Villagers" and you just need to bind the key in the controls. :D
