Got my very first firearm a month ago. Just so happens to be a SCAR 17S and a Vudu 1-6. Having some trouble zeroing the Vudu for 100 yards but a lot of it has to do with my fundamentals. I've not shot in ages (Since 2009). This video was helpful. It's given me some pointers to add to the pool of notes I am taking for Zeroing an LPVO.
Does your stock use a plastic or aluminum hinged connector to the receiver? I read that the ACR stock with the KDG aluminum connector does not absorb recoil as well as the plastic OEM but I don't know if that's myth or a real problem with canted screws, etc. What's your round count and experience using an aluminum connector (if that's what you have)?
i just got an lpvo not vudu but black spider and when i turn my throw handle to zoom in the reticle inside turns alittle bit with it is that normal or do i have a bad scope? i also could not get it to zero!
Hello its me again coming to drool over the drip 💦 that is eotech...... Been trying to work my way up to the ultimate combo, an EXPS-2 (or any) and 3/5x magnifier..... Santa!?...lol
Can you give some feedback on why Eotech could produce this scope with a daylight bright reticle? It have been just about the perfect LPVO if it were daylight bright. It couldn't have been that much more money to make it daylight bright.

Literally just mounted my Vudu 1-10 with the LEAP 09 mount on my Scar an hour ago and then I saw this video got posted!

Pointers on zeroing a SFP 1-6x24 LPVO Please… its my first LPVO I try. Do I have to be zoomed in all the way to zero?
Have this same exact setup down to the mount have not gotten a chance to zero scope yet but will soon great info!

It's the aluminum one, and so far so good, recoil feels great, but only about 500 rounds on that gun.

That is an original SCAR, it got the stock when they first came out. 100% worth it if you can find one.

Do you then set the zero stop by removing the adjustment knob and indexing it on zero?
"Slipping the scales" as it's referred to is always recommended.

iphones have a built in "measure" tool. I think it was that.
