The best video on TH-cam if you want to play at your best. You are really generous and humble Grisha, and of course, a real master on the stage. Thanks for share 🎯💪🎸🎼
This is probably one of the very best videos on TH-cam. I know someone else said this in the comments, but it has to be said again. Just straight up, no-nonsense talk like this is worth more than gold.
It's a blessing have such a Master sharing this kind of knowledge. All the guitar community around the world gains with his channel. I'm really, really greatfull to have the opportunity of meeting Grisha! Regards from Brasil!!!!!!!
It’s often assumed that Mr. Goryachev is more talented than everyone else, and he does what he does simply because he’s so talented. Doubtless he is talented. But this video reminds us that, regardless of his talent, he also works. It’s important to know that artists of his level get where they are because they work harder and smarter than everyone else.
Fingerings. YES. SO. IMPORTANT!!!! My high school piano teacher, Marion Libby (most wonderful!!!), taught me very early that FINGERINGS MATTER!!!! You MUST find the best fingerings for your hands and practice THOSE fingerings in for your performance. Practice? Practice SMART and EASY!!!!
Can you make a video playing la perla de cadiz? Thanks Grisha for everything you have done. I talked to you on the phone about skype lessons one day on 2010
Maestro I just bought a Cordoba C1M just to practice flamenco because there is no flamenco guitar supply here in my country what do you think about practicing in Cordoba C1M? it has a different sound compared to other classical guitars I've been playing flamenco for 3 years in Yahama C40 and for me Cordoba sounds different and more punchy even though it's sold as a classical guitar
Hi Grisha Goryachev.. Do you know anything about focal distonia? I've got it in my right hand, and do you have any exercise to tackle it ?. Thanks in advance...Thanks for your videos too.. So useful for me.
RECORDINGS DON'T LIE. And... LISTEN TO WHAT HE IS SAYING!!!: VARIETY OF SETTINGS: Once I warmed up in the upstairs choir room at a church. Then, I came down to the Sanctuary (where the piano was positioned) for the performance - and the person introducing the audience to the performer (me) went on and on and on and on... It was MUCH colder downstairs than upstairs. My fingers became COLD and STIFF. The Bach French Suite in G Major was first on the program. Very complex. Very cerebral. Very technical. DISASTER!!!! LOL I immediately spoke to the audience after the "performance" (or facsimile, thereof) of the Bach French Suite, saying, "Well, sometimes the nerves get you!" Everything was wonderful past that difficulty. Thank the Heavens!! Grisha is SO correct in his coaching here!!!
Great.. I realized i do about 80% of these but i do not perform even 1/1000 as good as Grisha :D :D i guess i just neet to accept it and hope one of my kids might do better than me.. (whatever field they choose...) Anyway thanx again for your great video!

Question - when playing 45mins before concert is it better to go through exercises or the actual pieces?
