And I have been getting error 8572 (issue for over 2 weeks). I even sent them the gtin certification. Still need to verify. What would you recommend ? Thank you
if we dont have llc and we doing private label what you suggest that should we purchase upc barcode to sell on amazon or click option that we dont have product id for brand what you wanna said if it can create problem let me know

Hello Geraldine, so glad you found the video helpful! 1. The brand will automatically show in your GS1 certificate, assuming you input the correct brand name when you purchased it. 2. EIN letter is the letter the IRS sends with your EIN number when you register for one (also known as SS-4 form). State registration letter is the document you receive from the US state you register your business in. You can also use OTHER official documents that contain your relation to the brand like a bank statement or even your website IF it also shows the product and UPC codes that you are trying to verify there.

Hi :) I have applied to GTIN exemption (for my brand name under clothing category) and i got approved and when i started to list my first product i got another error 5461 says i'm not eligible to add products. I went through application and gave all the proves and they replied that my brand name (that was approved on the GTIN exemption) is not selling clothing category. I don't know where is the problem since i applied for the exemption for the clothing category? pls advise

You can send any official document that matches the name that is on your GS1 certificate. It can be a bank statement or even the website BUT if you use the website, the UPC code needs to be showing on the listing to match it.
I see the GTIN to print but it is not an option, only Select identifier type: Prefix is available, even though I have 100 purchased GTIN/Barcodes, Help!
Did you login and clicked on myGS1 tab at the top? You should be able to see the certificates box that you can click :/ if you don't, you may need to contact GS1 for help.

If you are reselling items that are already registered @ GS1 you have to use the original UPC /ISBN etc. by the brand owner / manufacturer.
