I learned to fly at Palo Alto Airport back in the 1980's. After enough flight time, and a few solos, my Flight Instructor signed me off to be able to fly to Half Moon Bay, under specific weather, wind, etc. conditions. It was so great, as there was an excellent restaurant at HMB Airport. I could actually fly somewhere as a Student Pilot! I made this trip many times.
Palo Alto airport! The most embarrassing thing that happened to me in 1973, wow, I could never forget. I was going to land in San Carlos but end up in Palo Alto.
Thanks for watching! It's a great little airport to fly into with some nice views. Restaurant at the airport wasn't bad either (last time I was there ... a few years ago!)
+Jace Gordon Hi Jace. I’m not sure if any of the local Flight clubs will provide non member rentals. Best just check a few via Google and contact them directly

I’ve flown into there for that very reason too on many occasions! It’s a fun approach particularly entering the pattern from the south.

Didn't know you were based out of KPAO! I'm just up the Bay at KSQL, small world.
Ha, hello neighbor ;)
At 5:50 you can see the shadow of the traffic on the ground!
Ha, indeed you can. Didn't notice this until now :) Thanks for watching Marley
Nice video, thanks for posting.
Thanks for watching Peter :)
Yesterday's short flight over to Halfmoon Bay from Palo Alto
Good flying. I still need to fly there.
