Very useful mam! I recently followed ur page while searching for Austism. My second kid is having ASD and mild ADHD.he had very normal milestones till 2 year after that he started showing aversion in food and meals and started to eat only certain types of textures. Like crispy and spicy stuffs. Am taking him to ST and OT to a centre nearby my home. From last year April. We see some difference but not drastic changes. Still doing our best to him to have a better life. He is also having speech delay and self talks a lot and sings lot of songs. He loves to write lot of difficult words and had a great photographic memory. Once or twice in a day he gets excited and jumps and laughs and is this ok? Do u think I should stop screen time completely??
Hi ma'am, Check for the qualifications of the therapist, make sure you observe the sessions, ask therapists for daily home plans and complete it to see good progress ! It sounds like the child is a gestalt language processor, when worked using those principles, you will definitely see lot of progress ! Moderate the screentime need not stop completely, ask your speech therapist advice on this
