    Lyrics
When your heart's in someone else's hands
    Monkey see and monkey do
    Their wish is your command
    Not to blame
    Everyone's the same
All you do is love and love is all you do
I should know by now the way I fought for you
You're not to blame, everyone's the same
I know you think that you're safe
    Mister
    Harmless deception
    That keeps love at bay
It's the ones who resist that we most want to kiss
    Wouldn't you say?
    Cowboys and angels
They all have the time for you
Why should I imagine that I'd be a find for you
    Why should I imagine
That I'd have something to say
But that scar on your face
    That beautiful face of yours
In your heart there's a trace
    Of someone before
When your heart's in someone else's plans
Things you say and things you do
    That they don't understand
    You're not to blame
    Always ends the same
You can call it love but I don't think it's true
    You should know by now
I'm not the boy for you
    You're not to blame
    Always ends the same
I know you think that you're safe
    Sister
Harmless affection that keeps things this way
It's the ones who persist for the sake of a kiss
    Who will pay and pay
    Cowboys and angels
They all have the time for you
Why should I imagine that I was designed for you
    Why should I believe
    That you would stay
But that scar on your face
    That beautiful face of yours
Don't you think that I'd know
    They've hurt you, before
Take this man to your place
Maybe his hands can help you forget
Please be stronger than your past
The future may still give you a chance
The future, the future, not the past
    That scar on your face
    That beautiful face of yours
Don't you think that I know
    They hurt you before

We've needed to hear new and brilliant compositions he would have created. The world became an emptier and colder place without you, George but I thank God for blessing us with your presence.
What I've written here must sound silly but it's the way I feel. We've lost so much from so many. I will always be grateful for you, George! Rest in eternal peace 🕊️. ❤️💔🎶😢🙏

But, to be able to put a song together in your head b4 it's even put to music. I might know tones & sounds but he the sweet Angel could hear the music from the God's. That's why God took him home. Now he's making his joy in Heaven. I envy him. He's at peace now. But, oh how the world suffers from not hearing his sweet voice. The man didn't know how important he was. This song was written by George about a short-lived love triangle where he was in love with a man while a female friend was in love with him, but none knew of the others' feelings: "She was in love with me because she couldn't get me, and I was in love with him because I couldn't get him George said. What a beautiful arrangement, and George said that although nothing came of the love triangle he got a song out of it.

I forgot their names but there are in fact two people who "write" the "songs" nowadays. They offer these songs to the "artists" who like them. Then the music industry pumps in some millions so everywhere you go you hear those songs. They literally (!) killed Grunge and after 2010 it was done with artistic freedom. Maybe the industry lost too much to P2P networks. But ehm... music is for everybody. You can still find good music but you have to search a little harder. There are enough independent labels. I hope this is an indication that we are living in changing times and that hypnotizing kidz with boom-boom-boom tunes and stupid video clips is the last silly attempt of a dying dirty industry. Music is not a mass product like canned food. And imo that has to change as well. But that's a different subject (connected though). Happy searching.

    Cowboys and Angels
When your heart's in someone else's hands
    Monkey see and monkey do
    Their wish is your command
    You're not to blame
    Everyone's the same
    /
All you do is love and love is all you do
I should know by now, the way I fought for you
    You're not to blame
    Everyone's the same
    /
I know you think that you're safe
    Mister
    Harmless deception
    /
    That keeps love at bay
It's the ones who resist that we most want to kiss
    Wouldn't you say?
    Cowboys and angels
They all have the time for you
    Why should I imagine
That I'd be a find for you
    Why should I imagine
That I'd have something to say
But that scar on your face
    That beautiful face of yours
In your heart there's a trace
    Of someone before
    /
When your heart's in someone else's plans
Things you say and things you do
    They don't understand
    It's such a shame
    Always ends the same
    /
You can call it love but I don't think it's true
    You should know by now
I'm not the boy for you
    You're not to blame
    Always ends the same
    /
I know you think that you're safe
    Sister
    Harmless affection
    That keeps things this way
It's the ones who persist for the sake of a kiss
    Who will pay
    Cowboys and angels
They all take a shine to you
Why should I imagine that I was designed for you
    Why should I believe
    That you would stay
    /
But that scar on your face
    That beautiful face of yours
Don't you think that I know
    They've hurt you before
Take this man to your bed
Maybe his hands will help you forget
Please be stronger than your past
The future may still give you a chance

Sometimes you hear a song like this one but you really don't pay much attention to it. But when you hear it a few more times it gets to yah. The music goes in different directions. You hear George soft voice singing but you hear different instruments playing in the background. Some strings other are brass. But he brings the sounds altogether and it blends beautifully. I hear another masterpiece that was created but all that hard work and didn't get much recognition for it. God will bless him for his efforts that he has done and he will reward him for it. All music comes from the Creator anyway. Satan just gets in some music and distorts it.

George Michael. Cowboys & Angels 👼
This is such an emotional song 🎧 he’s just a genius.
The lyrics are absolutely fantastic. I play this song again and again and again.
He certainly knew what his audience loved 🥰
It’s unusual for George to do a jazz oriented song 🎧 but boy can this Saxophonist play divinely. I’m blown away by both George and the Saxophonist too.
    Perfect Mmmm 😊

George’s music was so intelligent and introspective . I never tire of them. His artistry was such a gift to all of us.

“Please be stronger than your past, the future may still give you a chance. “ WOW Repeatedly listened to this album when I was 19 y. o. & 20 years later am sooo relating to this! Beautiful then and so profound now!!! Thank goodness my future did give me a chance because I didn’t (although was tempted) let my past destroy me. RIP! Thank you 🙏🏽 🥰
