R: round
mr = magic ring
sc = single crochet
inc = increase (2 sc in the next stitch)
dec = decrease (join the next 2 stitches into 1)
sl st = slip stitch
st = stitch
ch = chain
F.O = finish off
[ ] = number of stitches you should have at the end of the round/row
( ) x 6 = repeat whatever is between the brackets the number of times stated

Yeah there’s definitely something wrong in the pattern. I adjusted to get 36 then came round 9 with only 2 decreases and it’s down to 28
R4: 2sc, (inc, 2sc, inc) brown, (2sc, inc) x 4 [24]
R5: 2sc, (1sc, inc), 3sc, inc) brown, (3sc, inc) x 4 [30]
R6: 2sc, 7sc brown, 21sc [30]
R7: 3sc, 5sc brown, 22sc [30]
R8: 4sc, 3sc brown, 23sc [30]
R9: (13sc, dec) x 2 [28]

in the video the pattern 36sc ??? PROBLEM IS HERE
when it was the rounds when it said 36 I just accepted it that it was a mistake or a mess up so I didn't change it and it stayed find when it came to round 9 everything was fine again
Should read comments first I’ve been stuck on row 5.
Round 5 should have 30 stitches not 36. You have only 6 increases from the 24 stitches of row 4
R 5: 2 sc, (1 sc, inc, 3 sc, inc) brown, (3 sc, inc) x 4 [30]
I think there's a mistake in the pattern because it goes from 24 stitches on round 4 to 36 stitches on round 5 with only 6 increases? Then it continues with 36 stitches per round but not another increasing round?

Yes, I have noticed it too and now I dont know what to do?
I don’t know if the creator meant to say 30 or really meant 36. If it is 36 then I kind of worked it out to the following:
2sc- white, (1sc, inc, 4sc, inc, 1sc)- brown, (4sc, inc) x4- white
Now again I could be wrong so if I am then I do apologize but that’s how I got to the stitch count of 36. Also note it will add and extra row so after getting to 36 the next row would be:
2sc- white, 9sc- brown, 25sc- white
After that you can follow the video like normal.

@@peachybqbe1312 it would I guess technically be round’s 5 and 6. Now I could be wrong about it was done but that’s how I sort of figured it out

There is an error in the pattern on row 5 of (2/4) of this tutorial. Total stitches at the end of the row should be 30 not 36

There's a definitely a mistake in the pattern. It doesn't add up around R5,6,7 etc. Could you please edit and correct the pattern? It's very confusing.

Hi, I'm finding the tail really fiddly to do, I've already binned 2 half attempts 😂 Have you any tips?
Make four chains and continue working up 4 single crochets until you have 10 rounds( obeying the colours). Cut the yarn and with a needle join the left and right sides. The result is the same and it's quite easy to do. When changing colors it's also more practical not to cut the yarn every time you need another color ,but just leave the yarn waiting at the back of the work. This channel is one of the best , beautiful music and organized explanation. Thanks Ami Saigon.
So if row 5 suppose to actually be 30, does that mean row 6 needs another rounds of increase or does your written total need to be 30 in row 6???
From round 5 to round 8 there are 30 singles

The total No of stitches is only 30 from round 5 to 8. But caption shows as 36. Kindly correct the caption in the video. It is misleading .
