Kudos to Lovecars and yes, I will love to see more contents like this. Not everyone has deep pockets to buy luxury cars or hypercars. There are sensible people out there who simply wants a car built for purpose. Don't get me wrong though I do love big Luxurious and super fast cars however there is no getting away from the fact that there are places in the world where fast cars are simply hopeless and pointless. A great example is here in SEZ. As for the i10 also known as Grand 10neos here. It is a good looking little thing and to be honest I will not mind owning one here in my country however here its not the cheapest.

I have owned two i10s. My second one is a 1200 Automatic 66 plate. I’ve driven it across 7 European countries and up into the French Alps. It can go anywhere and tasteful take on any road at ease. I love it. City Car? No, it’s a go anywhere car!

I've owned one. I still have it. Owned from new when I got it 10 years ago and now it's on 108,000 miles and climbing, I don't think I'll change. I'll be going to Cumbria in it soon and France hopefully in June.

I own the 2nd generation I10 and I can assure you it feels very good on the highway. It's true that it is quite slow but it is comfortable, stable and feels very good overall. I really love this car. And the fuel consumption is excellent. We need more videos like this.

Love to see more videos like this. I have owned i10’s since 2008, and have seen how the quality and equipment levels have improved over the years. Hyundai are now well and truly in the same league as the big boys in Europe and this i10 shows what confidence they have in the small car sector.

  • @ALMX5DP

Maybe just a city car, but looks pretty aggressive and fun. And being from North America, though it wouldnt sell well here I feel that's only because we have cheap fuel, cheap insurance, and large roads. I still think it'd be a great city car for those of us here who live in urban areas, and like you said it can still hold it's own in the countryside and on higher speed limit thoroughfares.

Not enough at manufacturers make proper small cars like that. Most small cars are what medium sized cars used to be which I wouldn't call small car.
Also I usually don't like the tablet thing in new cars but I do like the way it's integrated into the main dashboard in that car.
I'm not sure about Hyundai build quality and reliability these days but that I10 looks like a car I would consider as my first car.

3:11 Really usefull for short people, especially short and elderly. They have their seats in the most forward position, this results in armrests placed on the centre console being completely redundant as they poke out just a bit or sometimes end up behind the seats.

Within the last three weeks, I have extensively road tested variety of “city cars”, a Toyota Argo, a Suzuki Ignis, a Hyundai i10 and finally, a Kia Picanto. The latter was the only one that could not be faulted and for which I placed a factory order. All had long delivery lead times because of the global Microchip shortage.

There are so many regular car review channels already & at the same time dozens of TH-cam vloggers concentrating on endless & predictable supercar content mainly involving Ferrari , Lambos & Porsche which are not affordable to 95% of viewers. It would be nice to do a mixture of everything , ( including new car launches that we can all relate to ) , as this channel is different from the rest , you have a great balance on 'Lovecars' that is fun , entertaining & informative combined with a really high standard of filming that is good enough to be on Top Gear!.

  • @cinemenico
    @cinemenico 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Yes! Absolutely more of this!
Do include though, more about the actual ride quality and fun factor...
That said... Hyundai coming out guns blazing, no? They've had the sporty Coupe (Tiburon back in the day), but otherwise never really done anything exciting.
There was the Veloster, but I'm not sure it was that well-recreived. But the i30N, boy oh boy! WRC success as well! It's impressive. Seems they're finally getting some recognition from the public. And my parents swear by Hyundai. They're so reliable, so practical, such workshorses. Oh now they're rather good looking and fun to drive too! And abroad with the Genesis as well, they've seem to offer a whole lot for relatively cheap. Really rooting for them to carry on like this!
I keep on saying... with collabs like the Mazda MX-5/Fiat 124 Spider, Toyota GT86/Subaru BRZ and Toyota Supra GR/BMW Z4... how sick would it be if Hyundai partnered up with Honda to bring out a fun 2 or 4 seater sportscar (convertible)? Homage to the S2000 perhaps... looking forward to see what Hyundai's next move is.

@@lovecarsTV One thing I've heard is that the i10 has trouble going highway speeds. Especially with a little gradient in the road it apparently just doesn't have enough grunt to get up to speed and keep up. Would've really been interested in this one otherwise, would it have been a little sportier.
But I guess they needed to leave some room for the i20 N (2021). Bit of competition to the Fiesta ST and Yaris GR.

Yes more cars is always good. One niche that does not seem to be being filled at the moment is premium vs mainstream at same price. For example just under the magic 40k a low to mid spec A6 vs a top spec Superb or Passat say. Or any other combo that takes your fancy

I have had the second generation 1.2 lt for a year now. No regrets, it will not win a 1/4 mile race but it is affordable, low on gas (~ 15 km/lt), comfortable (I am y ft tall), cheap on maintenance and well assembled. Not a luxury or sporty car but good for the money ($11,000).

As a owner, I felt it was a best choice buying brand new Hyundai i10 grand nios because it has more leg room at the rear passenger seat, good looking interior, it as more features than the other cars in this segment, engine is quiet refined and smooth. It has exciting features like wireless charging first in the segment, rear AC vents and many more. It is also the best city car and stable in highways.

Hyundai its best selling car i-10 superbly popular in India 🇮🇳... I wonder why Hyundai never sold i-10 and i-20 variants in the U.S.A.

Will be nice to see more affordable, reliable vehicles. Hyundai/Kia doing the good thing.
It's the Euro automakers that are getting to be underwhelming. A lot are only good while brand new with faults showing up early on a number.
They focus mostly way too much in the overstyle department with not enough valuable content while charging a lot of money as usual.

I am on my third i10 and I do love these cars but it will be my last.
Why? Because the entry level price when I bought my current car was £7999 and it’s now gone up to £12,450 that’s like a rip-off. Why didn’t you mention that in your review
