    On August 13, 2022, a simple trespass incident turns into a completely chaotic 4-hour mess. A man barricaded himself under a crawl space in a random home’s basement in La Crosse, WI. He refused to leave and police had to resort to several methods to lure him out.

      I have my doubts it's mental health issues, if it is it's clearly been due to drug abuse like meth psychosis. I have a cousin, also named Jason funny enough who is, well he was a major meth head and he'd get like this guy just far out crazy. We all feared we'd find him dead, finally the police locked him up and he's in prison today and we're grateful he's there as at least he'll be clean and won't be found dead by the side of the road from overdose or from breaking in on someone, or dealing with the wrong drug dealers. Looked and sounded like meth psychosis which isn't to me mental health as much as just get off the freaking drugs and be a normal person.

    • @frankmarano1118
      @frankmarano1118 2 ปีที่แล้ว +231

      Yeah this man did not need a signature bond, he needed professional help & not freedom to run amok. In the 60s they used to put people into mental hospitals too easily & when all the abuse was exposed the whiplash made it to where its almost impossible to be put in one unless you kill someone first. The reason being is that you have to ADMIT YOURSELF there saying you have issues but crazy people don't know that they're crazy. Hence they're just free running around.
      Trust me id know more than anyone, my mother was crazy & I don't mean it in the "she's a little quirky" way. I'm talking about the same s***, fleeing the hospital in a hospital gown, having cops come to my house over 100 times in her lifetime. She was baker acted like 20 times & they almost always let her out the next day despite her trying to literally cut invisible bugs out of herself. Me & my father were dumbfounded & helpless to do anything because you can't someone help if they don't volunteer. We were let down by the system.
      One time cops almost arrested my dad because my mother randomly started screaming, "HELPPP R_______" out the window. One cop told him he was going to go away forever until other cops arrived on scene & scolded that cop for not looking into her history of false 911 calls & told him to, "get that man out of those cuffs immediately". She was literally released from being baker acted THAT VERY DAY & they were on the way back from the hospital. She was cleared to go as healthy minded 20 minutes earlier. Unbelievable, I couldnt make this up if I tried

      It's about making money off his crimes, if they release him on a 2500 bond they might get that money. Putting him in a hospital would cost money the same as keeping him in jail. This is why even child molesters and murderers, rapists and violent offenders keep getting let out. Our system is designed to keep allowing these people back out to commit more crimes so the court can tack on more fees. If it was really about punishing the guilty, they would never get out after the first time they committed a crime. That's why you see people with criminal histories dating back decades with 100s of crimes to their names. A thousand years ago they wouldn't have had the resources to waste on these scum, so they handled the problem permanently.

      Just one more example for the argument that mental healthcare reform is desperately needed in our country. The police deal with situations like this far too often and it ends up being a revolving door for the mentally ill - apprehend and arrest a subject, incarcerate subject, subject gets out, subject repeats behavior. Of course, this cycle is accurate for both the mentally ill and the legitimate criminal but the mentally ill need treatment not incarceration (most of the time).

      Most dog owners feel a special bond with their good boys. I do agree that a working relationship is a different bond, however. But most of us pet owners feel like they are part of the family. I still think about my boy Barney, who passed away 30 years ago. I've had pets since him but he was my special guy. The coolest little dude ever. Smart and lovable. Whenever he was out walking around, every neighbor just had to come give him pets and treats. He was a star around town. 😆 🤣 RIP Barney boy. I hope grandpa and grandma are giving you your favorite treat, peanuts, up there.😊😢

      I figured I would throw in my two cents about dogs and unconventional ways they drink water, having co-owned two. The first, a male Dalmatian, would attack the water stream from the exterior spigot with gusto, moving in to get some water, briefly backing away to swallow it, and back in again. The second was a female yellow Lab who wouldn't approach unless the water was just barely on, and even then still wouldn't drink until I cupped my hands into a makeshift bowl. Only then would she drink.

      Some dogs are naturally really excited about learning new things because of intelligence and high energy. They love to be interactive with their owners, who are their officer partners. It’s not about the joy of biting or hurting or doing any of the tasks in particular, it’s about doing it correctly and receiving praise for that.

    I just have to say that I've watched almost all of the videos on this channel, and the LaCrosse PD are some of the most patient, kind police officers I've ever seen. The amount of crap you deal with from these people is unbelievable & admirable tbh. I'm from Indiana (the Michiana area), and our officers would never be so kind & patient these criminals you deal with.
    Please stay safe and thank you for your service! 💙 🤍 🖤

      Every time one of these repeat offenders who was released by a brain-dead judge gets into a situation like this, the cops should go to the house of the judge and pick him up and bring him to the site and make him stay there until everything is resolved. I wonder how long it would take judges to start thinking twice about releasing some of these people.
