THE GREATEST CARP FISHING LAKE IN THE WORLD?! - LAKE ZAJARK

- Fishing abroad for massive carp is something which most carp anglers in the UK dream about! France is certainly the most popular destination when it comes to fishing in Europe however, if you travel further away from home, the carp fishing enters another level!
Lake Zajarki in Croatia is home to some of the largest carp in the world, with many of the carp reaching insane weights! Back in 2021, I had the privelage to visit this incredible venue with my mate Steve and had a trip to remember. We both caught some HUGE carp but Steve caught the biggest at a massive weight of 76lb!
After a couple of years waiting for another trip to become available, it was time to return to Zajarki and target catching a 70lb+ carp for myself...

Cheers mate! I was using 13ft 3.75tc rods 👊🏼 they are a set which I’ve been testing for a little while so keep your eyes peeled for when they’re released 🚀

Thank you! 🙌🏼🎣 The rods used on this video are rods which I have been testing for Nash over the last few months. Keeps your eyes peeled for when they’re launched 👀🚀 The length of the rods were all 13ft and the tc on the fishing rods were 3.75tc 👊🏼

The biggest carp i have ever seen are in the Rhone by Tarascon south of France nobody as far as i know has ever landed one of these fish i cannot even estimate the weight . There are also Silure to over 100kg here again impossible to land .

Each to there own but in my opinion it’s one of the best and I have actually been to quite a few venues outside the UK. Where would you say is the greatest carp lake in the world? 🙌🏼
