What a video oz is a wicked watch proper geezer with a sense of humour and the right amount of normal human better than a lot of the other stuff you see on you tube
Glad he is so happy, clearly a very focused and hard working carper. It doesn’t mean much to me to see someone catching from a big fish lake I will never get access to. Open access water success means more to me where anyone can have a chance. If I could do what he does I would. Except I hate to fish feeling under pressure to catch for cameras and sponsors. Working life for me was always full on, high pressure, intense. I don’t want to feel that way always when fishing. For me that would kill the pleasure. Viva la difference…but great skills and thanks for properly explaining your rigs and baiting approach.
First time watching Oz and a thinking anglers video, I love the video I am thinking about fishing horcott for the first time soon, I think this guy is a good angler very knowledgeable and I think we could all just take a little peace from this guy witch will take us all a long way in are fishing top man good video Oz 🤘🎣 good angling
thanks guys,,,,,im also in my fifties and this is another "rare" edit i have managed to watch to the very end,,,,♠,,,,,,,good to see your brand (which has even made it to go outdoors which is well handy in the evenings) and your supported anglers still loving it!!,,,,,, this vid is proof that less (media wise) is more!!!,,,,,,,,such good quality,,,,,Oz always comes across well,,,, just chatting away with no acting or padding out the edit with carpy bullshit,,,,,,,,,,,,,many thanks,,,✊,
Completely irrelevant to the video, but I noticed your fingers are also splitting where its callused. I've been trying to figure out how to fix that as it's hella painful and seems to come and go away randomly.
It took 50 seconds of the video to see drone footage of carp, unfortunately this seems the fast track to spotting carp now in every you tube video, if you arm a very good angler with this tool not available to anyone else then don't be too shocked when he banks carp. I done blame anyone, it's just not a true reflection of angling anymore
Films very rarely feature chronological drone footage in them. We never use drones to spot fish, Oz chose his swim having seen fish bubbling and general advise from others fishing at the time. The footage gained from drones is simply another angle to enjoy 🤓
@ThinkingAnglersTV I'm not being critical or negative, I'm fully aware that oz is a great angler regardless of technology, I also appreciate the footage a drone gives you, they are a great piece of kit & your videos are great. I also would given the opportunity use one to spot carp myself, has finding them is the biggest edge there is bar none. I'm also pretty sure that 99% of you tube carp catching videos with drone access will have a look for carp when there over the water, nothing will convince me otherwise, impossible not too, & if you see half the lakes stock in a certain area what do you think happens next????
Great vid little tip with tubing put ya tubing in ya lead clip with the lead on it the weight will keep it straight and the mainline will go straight thru with ease 👍
Was literally about to get this mainline due to the same "no braid " rule but i wasnt sure if the quality would be any good as theres not much information about it online apart from sea fishing sources. After gesring your positive opinion im gonna give it a go and see
@@ozh3013 spooled up with it on 3/3 rods now, had the line coming off the face of the spool onto the reel while spooling up, wet sponge etc. Now when I cast out with this line and pinch the line between my fingers I'm getting a twist up behind where I'm pinching it, is this normal with this line. It's the 20lb
Hi. I am a big fan of soft and delicate 2.25-2.5lb carp rods. I've been fishing with German 2.25lb anacondas for 10 years and I think it's time to change and buy something fresher. Unfortunately, in my country such rods cannot be bought. There are only rods for surface fishing. I interested in carp rods with a curve of 2.25-2.5 lb without a cork handle ! only Japanese shrink and rod blank preferably in black matte. Have any suggestions? Have you seen such sticks? If so, please reply. Maybe I can buy it on eBay or Amazon. Thank you very much and greetings to English carp anglers.
Great fishing lovely fish 👌🏻🔥

it's very simple ! Drone and bait boats are as Jim shelley says ! No fishing, just cheating!

Keep up with the times mate or get left behind
Nice one guys!

Hi mate, not sure if you can get them there but sounds like some Harrisons Ballistas would be what you're after.
Qaulity 🎣👊
Cheers 🍻

The way he holds them carp has got to be bad for them… near enough holding them by there tail!
