Soul Sacrifice was the best. One of my best friend and I used to play, literally all night. Had to plug in the power adapter, even though the Vita had a pretty good batter life. Fond memories!
I really liked soul sacrifice, I never played the full game, I’d just play the demo from time to time. The game seemed so packed with stuff to do & the rpg elements were deep. It was quite the game
I remember buying my vita around 3 years ago (in july). I don't completely remember why, but one of the reasons was remote play for the ps4. I also enjoyed games like Little Big Planet, Killzone Mercenary, and of course Persona 4 Golden. I have the aqua blue, 2000 model with a charge grip that feels nice in ths hands. :)

Being able to play any PS1,PsVita, or PSP rom you want, can handle N64 and arcade emulators, a simple homebrew program that makes your PC think your Vita is a webcam allowing you to record gameplayfootage, Japanese to English mod patches allowing you to play Japanese exclusive titles like Phantasy Star Nova, and you can mod your Vita to be use as a PC controller.

When I dropped out my jr year and went straight to working in welding and construction in early 2018 I accidentally left my psvita and psTV in Florida back home but I came back 2 weeks ago cuz of the coronavirus and I found my self playing all the old games on my pstv and ps3 and holy shit it feels like I never left ppl still rage if u beat them and spam u with hate mail

I had a vita for 6 days lole 2 years ago. The psp is my favorite handheld of all time. Hardware wise the vita is what every kid and gamer in general wanted the original psp to be for the most part. Software wise the handheld is lacking terribly. Sony didnt even bother to get sequels made to popular online games from PSP like socom and syphon filter. The switch has the typical nintendo exclusives and some cool 3rd party games. You can even put a vita emulator on it. At the end of the day sony really dropped the ball when it comes to the vita and i hope they try again someday in the future.

Out of interest, of all the consoles and PC's I have available in my house during the covid19 lockdown, the ones getting the most usage are the PS2, PS3 and PS Vita (and that is with 2 Nintendo Switches, a PS4, a 360 and 2 PC's). I have a modded vita and it’s honestly amazing what you could with it, also just recently got a vita tv too and modded that as well. Great to have for quarantines and lots of options for you to play
I also picked up Vita after a while. I'm stuck at my parent's so I don't have access to PS3 and 4. So Vita it is. However I play solely single player games (unless they have one or two online trophies which I try to boost quickly).

I hope a new Killzone game gets released. Killzone: Shadow Fall is a flop. It looked too "clean". Mercenary was the last game that resembled the classic Killzone game. KZ2 and KZ3 are, and will always be, on top. Edit: typo
The first one is still my favorite. After that I would say shadow fall my second. The second and third one were ok but they lost that dark depressing undertone to them. Love the series though and hope they eventually make another.

Underrated system. I played many, many amazing indie games on this handheld, and a few great games from bigger studios. Killzone still impresses me to this day.
I bought resistance around when it came out on the vita used and was so mad when I found out you needed the pass for online. That’s the only trophy I needed for the plat too
I think that the P.S. Vita could have gave the Switch a run for it's money. But, Sony cut the Vita off too soon. I actually like Sony/ PlayStation games more than I like Nintendo/Switch games.

Best way to find people to play any game that still has servers up is joining the Facebook ps vita groups and posting what game you need people for...helps a ton with online trophy hunting hope this helps a fellow vita supporter/hunter🤙🤘💙

Kevin Thomas some games more than others. Mercenary was made for vita but it’s a system seller so they made it compatible with tv but lazily did it. A lot of games run great like rayman, disney infinity, tellatale games, or any of the LEGO games but when they don’t they really don’t.
Unit 13 still has an active community quite a lot of people still participate in the online challenges. I like to imagine they're big SOCOM or MAG fans who're trying to remember the good old days before the servers for those games went down
i still play games online almost daily, between freedom wars, soul sacrifice delta, toukiden and a bunch of other games in between finishing up import otomes, theres still a lot of us vita players out there!

Bioshock Remastered, Bioshock 2 Remastered, Bioshock Infinite, Borderlands Remastered, Borderlands 2, Borderlands PreSequel, XCOM 2 and Catherine Full Body coming to Switch!! This feels like the continuation of Vita in spirit.
It is a shame that Sony pulled the plug on the P.S Vita. The most beautiful piece of hardware which didn't get the support it deserved. I own 4 of these babies so I am a big fan. I use the P.S. Vita for Remote Play sometimes. Currently I am playing Leisure Suit Larry via Remote Play. I prefer playing point and click games on the Vita rather than the big screen.
I hope they never stop running Remote Play Sony please don't do it I use Remote Play all the time I use it on the weekends when it's really slow at my job connect to my PS4 and play Resident Evil 2 remake

story wise K1 and liberation i favored the most, along with mercenary. gameplay wise definitely K2 and K3, always fun to play.

i still play games online almost daily, between freedom wars, soul sacrifice delta, toukiden and a bunch of other games in between finishing up import otomes, theres still a lot of us vita players out there!
Kill zone was a blessing if we had 3 other similar shooters and one gta port it would have survived
I still have my psvita and I love it. I am sad that is so dead in the US. Have you tried changing the region to Japan? I heard that ps vita comunity over there is pretty active. They actually relesead a psvita version of the new Catherine game.

@@masofdas yes . Virtua Tennis 4 was alot of people playing it . Ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 as well. Toukiden2 , Minecraft (I assume, I have it , but haven't played it yet) Dragons quest heroes 2 (3way cross play vita,PS3,ps4) etc . There are alot games that are still active

I bought a PSVita a couple months ago solely as a Persona machine lol. Honestly wasn't even looking for anything too cool but was impressed with what the Vita simply is.

Soul Sacrifice and Toukiden I put over 200+ hours into each. Great games. Whenever I travel I always bring them along
I still play the vita. Games are amazing and just an awesome handheld wish there was more online gaming going on. We should have a website for online schedules and stuff similar to the Dreamcast

It is a shame that Sony pulled the plug on the P.S Vita. The most beautiful piece of hardware which didn't get the support it deserved. I own 4 of these babies so I am a big fan. I use the P.S. Vita for Remote Play sometimes. Currently I am playing Leisure Suit Larry via Remote Play. I prefer playing point and click games on the Vita rather than the big screen.
I hope they never stop running Remote Play Sony please don't do it I use Remote Play all the time I use it on the weekends when it's really slow at my job connect to my PS4 and play Resident Evil 2 remake

It’s such a shame Sony abandoned the Vita like that and made awful business decisions for the system. It was such a great handheld, way ahead of its time. I am glad that there is still a player base and dev support, even if it is small.
I sold my games but my gut told me to keep the Vita, definitely gonna build my collection back up
