The Sims 1
When the relationship bar between two Sims is low enough, they can begin fighting. They can insult each other with shake fist, or they can poke the other sim. Another more physical negative social interaction is: attack.
They can shove, slap, slap fight or start a a full on fistfight.
In The Sims 1, when a sim loses a fight, they may leave the neighborhood forever and cannot be brought back.
The Sims 2
In The Sims 2, when two Sims dislike each other enough they can even become enemies. Most negative social interaction is - fight. They can shove, slap, poke or attack. They can also irritate the other sim by throwing a drink in their face. When a fight breaks out in The Sims 2, almost every sim nearby will come to watch the fight.
The Sims 3
In The Sims 3, if the relationship bar between two Sims is low enough, they can become arch enemies. Most negative social interaction is - fight
they can yell at, slap or start a full on fistfight. Sims with the proper Proper etiquette trait will have a "slap with glove" interaction.
The outcome of a fight is determined by many factors. When a fight breaks out in The Sims 3, some of the nearby sims will come to watch the fight. Their reactions to the fight will be based on their personality
Sims 4
In The Sims 4, like in the previous Sims games, fights can be started by Sims who have a very negative relationship with someone.
They can also become enemies. Like in the Sims 2, you can also throw a drink in someone's face. More physical negative social interactions are shove and fight.
If a fight is happening near other Sims, they will come to witness it.
Damn 4 is so lame! After every fighting interaction the Sims just start smiling and have a normal friendly conversation as if nothing happened.😅
Lol this already happened with me, i made 2 brothers fight then after the fight they hugged each other and started to have a friendly talk
the worst part is that sims 4 is supposed to be the game with the most realistic emotions
All the spectators had the same reaction, they all look offended. I like how the older games, some people cheering it on, while others are offended lmao that's so fuckin cool!
Sims 4 is very boring. I only build homes. The best and interesting was Sims 2!
Sims 4 have The Worst emotion system , even sims 3 and 2 which does not have written emotion shows more emotions via expression unlike fake fiesta which is sims 4 .
If a child sees their parents fighting in Sims 2 they'll run away crying or throw a tantrum and get angry, which is a nice detail. I think it also happens in Sims 3.
In Sims 4 children don't really care.

I like the idea that in the sims 1 everyone is such a sore loser or has such extreme pride that simply losing a single fight is enough to make them leave the lot

I think its interesting worth noting that in the sims 2, if sims have a nice personality, they wont fight back, but merely retreat and cry
Correct, if a Sim's Nice is atleast 5. they will Not attack Back, and will Cry as you say
i was wondering why my teenage sim kept doing that instead of fighting back when her sister kept attacking her, she never initiated the fights either 😭
That's the only drawback in Sims 2 fighting, everything else tops all.

In fact, it seems that my sim violated this rule a little while I was playing for another character, the sim quarreled with some citizen, seemed to behave quite negatively, and won the fight. although maybe I just didn't notice the moments when he cried. but it is unusual that an introvert on 2 and a sweetheart on 10 could answer something 😂
In Sims 3 If a celebrity sim fights with someone, he will receive condemnation from the public. Even if the paparazzi were not around at the time of the fight, how will they only find out everything

When you think you’ve seen everything the Sims 3 have to offer. That glove slap (5:20) and threesome brawl fight (6:27) is iconic 😂😂

@@SnowWhite-hp3or It's only available in the Late Night expansion pack. The Glove Slap was included in the Generations expansion back.
The one with the glove is also in The Sims Medieval which is a game that was released between him and The Sims 4.
@SergeantExtreme The slap with glove interaction came with supernatural as it's an interaction used by proper sims.

In Sims 4. If you have a friend witnessing the fight. They get a moodlet depending on the situation. If a Sim wins the fight, it gets a positive moodlet, but if loses. It's a sad moodlet instead,
In Sims 3. You can tell who can easily win the fight if you pay attention to the animation. If the person dives in first, that's the sign of who's gonna be the winner of the brawl.
The face slap of The Sims 1 is very realistic 🤣🤣🤣 I laughed hard with The Sims 3 slow motion lol

I like TS2 and TS3 fighting animation best. I like the whole them looking confused and putting up their fists. And the whole end with one of them being pushed out and on the ground cracks me up every time.

The fact you can fight another sim literally out of existence in the sims 1 gives it the win for me, but honestly this is one thing they've been pretty consistent with in delivering well with each new iteration.

Sims 1 slap is the best. In the other games it looks too comical. The actual fights in 2 and 3 are the best though.

I think it would've been cool if they added a mechanic where sims with higher fitness skills have a different fighting style than sims with lower fitness skill. I mean, someone who's been hitting the rounds on a punching bag would definitely fight differently than someone who's never hit another person before. Not saying that they need to make the fights more "realistic", I just wish that they spiced it up a bit.
It would also be cool if sims from certain career's fought differently. Like a sim in Law Enforcement, the Military, Crime or Athletics would fight differently than a sim who works as a Slacker. Seeing how many "hidden traits" work in Sims 3 and Sims 4 I think that it definitely would've been possible.
In Urbz sims in the city the game mechanic was like the more fights you participated in the better you were at them and then you would start winning all of them.

I remember playing the Sims 1 and 3 before I knew how to read. I didn't have any idea what I was doing, but I did memorize what dialogue options I'd have to press in order to get my sims to fight.

This is why I hate TS4’s relationship system. Even with all these “chemistry” options added in Growing Together, Sims will get along with everyone despite being incompatible or straight up enemies. When my Sims see their enemies, I want them to look angry, reject their social attempts more often, more frequently use mean socials autonomously. But nah, in TS4 they’ll start laughing and hug each other after kicking each other’s tails. It’s extremely immersion breaking.
In Sims 2 the reaction from Sim receiving "fight" interactions is different depending on their grouchy/nice points, they may counterattack or cry. And of course as we can see in 4 a Sim can't stand idle for even a minute without checking their stupid smartphone, this is so annoying.
I like how the fight in TS2 makes such a fuss in the neighborhood. There were worried, scared, cheerful sims and at the end of the battle Don Lothario whistles "Goddamn, girl!" to the winner

And, in Sims 3 i often see Werewolves who have Fun-Fights (i never play a Werewolf, but funny to watch them)

Pretty much the fights:
Sims 1: glitching all over the place in a cloud
Sims 2: more realistic cloud with sims popping out and phasing into the ground
Sims 3: sims 2 but with a darker cloud and more animations
Sims 4: fights aren’t as interesting

I think the best part of the fighting in Sims 2 is how spontaneous it is, like, sims that hate each other will happily start fighting as soon as they share the same lot. Doesn't even need to be a sim in my household, one time I was watching two girls go at it while waiting for my sim to come back from his college classes.
I hope that carried over to Sims 3. I don't remember how fights went in Sims 4, though, cuz I usually have Extreme Violence on... 😅
The sims 4 lose a lot of details
I remember in the sims1 2 sims at a celebrity lot were fighting and without telling my sim to do anything; he walked over to a nearby bench, sat down and watched it while eating something.
At that point I didn't even know sims could fight. :p

Fun fact: in the PlayStation 2 version of The Sims 2, there was an additional interaction called "give wedgie". It did exactly what you'd expect it to, but I find it interesting that this interaction was a PlayStation exclusive. There's no low Sony won't stoop to in order to get you to buy their consoles. 😁

I like The Sims 3 fighting best, followed by Sims 2, and 1 last because as cool as the fighting was, I was shocked the first time one of my Sims disappeared. lol (While I acknowledge Sims 4 does have some cool features like the CAS, my computer suddenly doesn't have the 'drivers' to play it anymore. It wasn't that great to care about anyway.)
It's an error with the update that launched with the horse pack. Copy your game files from My Documents elsewhere, uninstall, reinstall and put the game files back.
No one is talking about that girl minding her own business and vibing near the brawl lol.
differences between a brawl and fight
Fights cannot have another sim to join, while the brawls can have other sims involved.
Fights last just about 30 sim minutes, while brawls last about 25-35 sim hours.
The fight smoke effect is grey, while the brawl smoke effect is black.
